WWE ID Prospects Join APAC Wrestling’s SlamFest ‘25 Line-up
APAC Wrestling has announced four new matches for its upcoming SlamFest ‘25 event, with all of the additions featuring talent from WWE’s International Development (ID) system. These announcements further establish SlamFest as one of the more ambitious wrestling events in Southeast Asia this year, bringing together both homegrown stars and internationally-scouted prospects.
Jordan Oasis vs. Double K
Among the latest additions is Jordan Oasis vs. Double K. Oasis, known as “The Global Nomad,” brings experience from WWE’s ID system and a career spent traveling the globe through seminars and cross-promotional bouts. SlamFest ‘25 marks his debut in the APAC Wrestling ring.
Facing him is Double K, a veteran of the Southeast Asian scene. Double K, often referred to as “The Retis,” is known for his distinctive charisma and connection with regional audiences. The match pairs an internationally-seasoned talent with a homegrown mainstay, highlighting a recurring theme throughout this year’s card: global prospects vs. regional veterans.
Alfa Nazri vs. Sean Legacy
Also confirmed is Alfa Nazri vs. Sean Legacy. Nazri made his name as the first graduate of Shaukat’s Ground Zero training program and gained recognition following his standout 2023 graduation match. Representing Malaysia’s next generation of talent, Nazri now faces an opponent with a different background entirely.
Sean Legacy, from Georgia, USA, is another prospect from WWE’s ID system, having made appearances on NXT and other platforms. Legacy’s reputation for athleticism and precision complements Nazri’s more fiery and passionate style. Both men are considered future names to watch, albeit through very different developmental pathways.
Azroy vs. Cappuccino Jones (APAC Wrestling Championship)
APAC Wrestling Champion Azroy will defend his title against Cappuccino Jones, another wrestler tied to WWE’s ID system with past experience in EVOLVE. Azroy, who remains undefeated since the inception of the championship, has established himself as the leading figure in APAC Wrestling’s men’s division.
Jones, by contrast, enters as a relative unknown to the local audience but carries credentials that suggest he won’t be overwhelmed by the occasion. This match serves as a key test not just for Azroy’s title reign but for how APAC Wrestling’s top names stack up against internationally-scouted competition.
Shaukat vs. Raj Dhesi
Perhaps the most high-profile announcement is Shaukat vs. Raj Dhesi, better known internationally as former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Shaukat issued an open challenge for SlamFest ‘25, seeking an opponent who would push him to new heights. Dhesi’s response brings added legitimacy to the event, given his global profile and history as a major figure in WWE.
For Shaukat, this represents a milestone opportunity to test himself against someone who has performed at the industry’s highest levels. For Dhesi, it’s a rare opportunity to perform in Southeast Asia outside of WWE’s ecosystem.
Women’s Division: Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender’s Match Announced
In addition to the title matches, APAC Wrestling has announced a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the next challenger for the APAC Women’s Championship. The line-up brings together talent from across Asia-Pacific:
Tarlee (Australia), a powerhouse of the Australian scene, trained at Black & Brave under Seth Rollins. A regular across Australia’s independents, Tarlee brings both size and experience into the contest.
Crystal (Philippines), the “Queen of Philippine Wrestling,” and a former APAC Women’s Champion, remains one of the region’s most dominant figures.
Kira Summer (Japan), representing TJPW, is known for her unique mix of flair and intensity, adding both style and substance to the field.
Mio Shirai (Japan), the returning Joshi veteran, makes her comeback after retiring in 2015. Known for her past partnerships with WWE’s Asuka and her connection to Iyo Sky, Shirai’s presence adds significant prestige to the match.
With four competitors from four nations, this match highlights the increasingly international makeup of the APAC Wrestling women’s roster. The winner will earn the next shot at the APAC Women’s Championship.
Women’s Championship Match: Phoenix vs. Kylie Rae
These new matches join the previously announced APAC Women’s Championship bout between Nor “Phoenix” Diana and Kylie Rae. Phoenix, one of Southeast Asia’s most well-known wrestling figures and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, defends her title against Rae, a respected U.S. wrestler now part of WWE’s ID system.
Rae’s inclusion brings another layer of international credibility to the event, while Phoenix continues to carry the flag for local representation in the women’s division.
