World Underground Wrestling Philippines: Master Wars Results and Huge DEXCON Event Update
World Underground Wrestling hosted their most prominent show in years, Master Wars, celebrating 30 years of Fugo Fugo Yumeji yesterday (15 June) from The Brawlpit Bulusan in Quezon City.
The event proved a significant turning point in Pusoverse storylines, marking a clear shift in direction for the second half of the year.
MATCH RESULTS
Main Maxx and Silent D defeated La Verna and Serafin Liwanag
Romeo confronted Main Maxx post-match, challenging him to a bout for his 100th career match. The encounter remains unscheduled.
Hakai Mateo defeated Sick Bubblegum for the WUW Eurasian Championship, claiming his first title.
Chelsea Marie defeated Starling in a highly competitive contest.
Post-match, Starling fell victim to an attack from Patricia Ligaia, who returned with a striking new look: jet black hair and dark attire.
Sansyu defeated HIT in a Jacket Wrestling Match.
Joya retained her DEXCON Women's World Championship against Marika Kobashi.
Team WUW defeated HY/MUM in the main event, with assistance from the WUW PH OG's and returning veteran St. John Martin.
STORYLINE IMPLICATIONS
Master Wars may rank among the year's most significant events for the Pusoverse trio of promotions. Several compelling angles emerged from the show.
Patricia Ligaia's heel turn sets up a potential programme against a familiar rival who has built considerable momentum during her absence. The visual transformation underscores the character shift.
The Robin Sane situation appears set for a slower burn, as does the emerging tension between HY/OP and Real Global Threat. Expect the latter dynamic to escalate more prominently on upcoming DEXCON and SETUP cards.
A return of Puso-branded summer shows looks increasingly likely, providing natural booking opportunities for these developing stories.
DEXCON DOUBLE HEADER ANNOUNCED
A double-header has been announced for 18-19 July at Bigger Pictures. Jam of the Joshi's 2 takes place on Saturday evening, followed by Ay Sus on Sunday. Both events follow The Season Pass Vintage Market on the same days.
Promotional posters have advertised several prominent joshi talents, notably the return of Mei Suruga and Balliyan Aki for Ay Sus.
Early bird ticket pricing is available for a limited run. Prices increase after the promotional window closes, and stock may become limited as the events approach.
