Viva Van Returns to VPW, But who will be her opponent?
Confirmed yesterday by VPW officials. Vietnam Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion Viva Van will return to Vietnam for Saigon Slam Jam on May 9th from Fox Field in Ho Chi Minh City.
As VPW runs its first major outdoor event, the first Vietnamese descended female wrestler in the whole world makes her return. We last saw Viva Van defend her VPW Women’s championship at Vietnamania in December against the Queen of Philippine Wrestling Crystal. Now, after such a monumental main event the AEW and ROH star returns again.
Keep your eyes peeled for match announcements as the show approaches.
However in the meantime we can speculate on who might be her opponent? The door is wide open right now for Vietnam Pro Wrestling right now to pit their star female athlete against the best in the world.
Speculation is running wild that her opponent could well be someone prominent from the Southeast Asian wrestling scene that she has yet to face while other rumors point to someone that is tied to one of her other contractual obligations in AEW, New Japan and ROH.
