Vietnam Pro Wrestling - Ultimate Collision 2025 Preview

Everything changed in one night.

Six weeks ago at Saigon Slam, what began as a celebration of Vietnamese wrestling turned into betrayal, heartbreak, and disbelief. VPW founder Rocky Huynh, a man once synonymous with national pride, aligned himself with The British Horror, handing Vietnam’s most prized sporting trophy to a foreigner — and leaving fans stunned.

Will we get any answers this Saturday at Ultimate Collision, live from the VAIB Studio? That remains to be seen. What we do know is this: six high-stakes matches are set to deliver an explosive night of action, consequences, and revelations.

Match 1: “Slugshot” Henry vs Damien the Despicable

The Rookie Meets the Monster

This is no ordinary debut. “Slugshot” Henry has impressed in multi-man chaos, earning praise in the Guerrilla Games and last month’s scramble tag. Now, the rising star is stepping into singles competition for the very first time—and his opponent is no warm-up act.

Damien the Despicable may now be known as half of VTX, but VPW diehards remember him as a dominant Openweight Champion who held the title for 329 days. He took that belt from his own best friend, Phong Tran, and turned back challengers like Rocky Huynh and Sid Nguyen during one of VPW’s toughest eras.

Henry is stepping into the lion’s den. Damien, reeling from a tag title loss, is itching to reestablish his dominance. And with whispers of VTX focusing on singles gold again, this could be the start of something sinister.

Match 2: Jack Alexander vs Sid Nguyen

The Prince Has Had Enough

If this is your first time seeing Jack Alexander, buckle up. Known for his flair, fun, and “secret sauce,” the Malaysian star is one of the region’s most beloved personalities. After a rough 2024, he turned things around by winning the MYPW New Breed 3 Rumble—but now he walks into a storm.

Sid Nguyen is not smiling. Not laughing. Not shaking hands.

Since his closest friend Rocky Huynh stabbed VPW in the back, The Prince of Wrestling has been seething. Once a villain, Sid has matured—only to see his past come back to haunt him in the most personal way possible. Rumors swirl that he hasn’t spoken to Rocky since Ultimate Collision was announced.

This isn’t just a match. It’s Sid looking for catharsis. And Jack might be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Match 3: KPY vs Xumin Long

Brotherhood Broken: Loser Leaves Vortex Rebellion

Just weeks ago, KPY, Xumin Long, and Kira were standing tall as champions-in-the-making. But when KPY lost to Sid Nguyen at Saigon Slam, everything fell apart.

Instead of supporting his long-time partner, Kira mocked him—gloating over the fact that he and Long succeeded where he and KPY had failed for years. Then came the ultimatum:

“One of you stays. The other disappears.”

Now, KPY and Long must face off in a match neither of them wanted. The winner joins Kira as tag team champions. The loser is out of Vortex Rebellion forever.

Friendship dies in the ring this Saturday.

Match 4: Rocky Huynh vs Hy Draco

Betrayal in Blood

This is personal.

Hy Draco had The British Horror beat at Saigon Slam. The crowd was roaring. The title was within reach. Then, from nowhere, The Awesome Taurus struck—and the match was over.

That betrayal stings worse because it came from Rocky Huynh, a man Hy once idolized. Rocky didn’t just interfere—he chose sides. He made a statement that shook VPW’s foundation to its core.

Now, Hy Draco is coming for more than just revenge. He wants to rip the soul out of Rocky Huynh. And Rocky? He’s no longer the noble founder. He’s half of the Rocky Horror Show, and he’s ready to prove that his new era means domination, not redemption.

This might be the most bitter grudge match in Southeast Asia.

Match 5: The Classic Night vs The Juicy Boyz

Party vs Pandemonium

This interpromotional clash pits the lovable veterans against the kings of chaos.

The Classic NightBilly and Bobby—are riding high after Bobby’s Ho Tram triumph and a huge win over NJPW stars The Natural Classics at Saigon Slam. Once seen as crowd-pleasers and mid-card mainstays, they’ve evolved into serious contenders with a big-match aura.

Enter The Juicy BoyzLyrical Lightning and The Wonderboy—MYPW’s most obnoxious, unpredictable, and oddly effective tag team. They’ve left trails of chaos across Malaysia and Singapore, but they’ve never won in Vietnam. Wonderboy is 0–2, Miles is 0–3.

Will they change their luck in Saigon? Or will The Classic Night give them another reality check?

Main Event: VPW Openweight Championship

The British Horror (c) vs Ares
Monster vs Force of Nature

What kind of champion signs off on Ares as their first challenger?

The British Horror, now with Rocky Huynh and the Princess Death entourage at his side, doesn’t seem to care. Maybe he believes he’s already untouchable. Maybe he thinks beating the most dominant figure in VPW history will seal his legacy.

But Ares is no ordinary challenger.
He is aggression. He is rage. He is the reason most foreign wrestlers leave Vietnam empty-handed. When he’s in the zone, nobody survives.

Horror may be cocky—but if he underestimates Ares for even a second, we could see the shortest Openweight reign in VPW history.

Vietnam Pro Wrestling: Ultimate Collision 2025
Six matches. One night. Everything at stake.

Will Rocky explain his betrayal? Will Vortex Rebellion survive? Will The British Horror make it out with the title?

Only one way to find out.
