Vietnam Pro Wrestling: The Rumble Heats Up with Major Developments

Da Butcherman Returns to Vietnam

It’s official — Da Butcherman is coming back to Vietnam Pro Wrestling for the first time in over two years. The reigning SPW Southeast Asian Champion was last seen in Vietnam in a fierce showdown against Rocky Huynh. This time, he’s set to collide with another founding father of VPW, Sid Nguyen, in what promises to be a brutal battle. Full preview coming next week.

Billy’s Got the Figure(s) — But Is He Ring-Ready?

VPW’s social media lit up this week as Billy & Bobby showcased what might be Vietnam’s most impressive wrestling figure collection. While fans admired the dedication, the question remains: has Billy been putting the same energy into training for the upcoming VPW Tag Team Title match?

British Horror Steps Away

It’s now confirmed — The British Horror will miss The Rumble. In a video promo with Rocky Huynh, the former champion admitted his frustration over losing the title to Ares. Rocky, ever blunt, told him to take a break and regroup. More surprisingly, The Founder hinted at challenging Viva Van for the VPW Women’s Championship. No word yet from AEW’s Tony Khan — who declined to comment.

Foreign Threats Incoming

Two major international threats have issued warnings ahead of The Rumble Match. Jake De Leon dismissed Ares’ dominant record over foreign talent, calling him a “god with fading momentum.” Meanwhile, Miles Karu expressed disappointment with Vietnamese fans who cheer The Classic Night over his team, The Juicy Boyz. Speaking exclusively to SEA Wrestling, Karu promised major moves at The Rumble and beyond.

Don’t Miss It

VPW: The Rumble happens Saturday, August 16 at VAIB Studios, Ho Chi Minh City. Final tickets are selling fast. This standout event in the Vietnamese calender is not one to be missed as 25 men clash in the biggest battle royal in Southeast Asia.
