Vietnam Pro Wrestling Documentary "Vietslam" Set for July 14th Release
Vietnam Pro Wrestling's long-awaited documentary, Vietslam, will be released worldwide on July 14th, available across digital platforms everywhere.
The film traces VPW's remarkable rise from a small group of young hopefuls to Vietnam's first national wrestling promotion, now selling out consecutive shows in front of crowds exceeding 500 fans. The project was developed alongside VPW in partnership with filmmaker Nathan Mowery, director Robert Peak, Tri-Coast Entertainment, and legendary wrestler Chris Jericho.
In the filmmakers' own words, Vietslam is "a feel-good journey that proves dreams can take root anywhere" — a tagline that captures the heart of what VPW has built from the ground up.
Vietslam will be available on a wide range of platforms, including Apple TV, Google Play, iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, Hoopla, Tubi, Plex, Local Now, and Fandango at Home, ensuring the story reaches audiences far beyond Southeast Asia.
SEA Wrestling was fortunate enough to receive a sneak preview of one of the film's key moments several months ago, and we can confirm it captures everything that makes professional wrestling special — genuine, human, and deeply moving. This is a release wrestling fans, casual viewers, and underdog-story lovers alike won't want to miss.
Vietslam arrives at a pivotal moment for VPW, as the promotion continues to cement its place as a trailblazer for wrestling in Vietnam and across the region.
