The Full Circuit – Singapore Edition
Singapore continues to stand tall in Southeast Asian wrestling, producing more “circuit completionists” than any other country. These are the wrestlers who have competed in all five corners of the region — Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. From pioneers to trailblazers, Singapore has consistently sent its talent across borders, raising the country’s profile while strengthening the bonds of SEA wrestling.

Mighty Mighty
Fans may be surprised to learn that Mighty Mighty has already ticked every box on the Southeast Asian circuit and was actually the second ever to do so. Best known outside SPW in recent years for his fun-loving babyface run in VPW, his journey actually stretches back much further. In Malaysia, he first teamed with Eurasian Dragon at Wrestlecon during the formative years of MYPW in 2016. His Thai chapter came in 2023 when he stepped into a four-way at SETUP Thailand 11 for the WrestleSquare Hardcore Championship. In Vietnam, he wrestled as early as 2022, teaming with D. Austin against the Mystic Warriors, while also returning to face the Vung Tau Experience in 2024. One of his more forgotten ventures saw him pair up with Da Butcherman in Manila for MWF, forming an unlikely tag team. All told, Mighty Mighty has quietly carved out a full regional resume that shows his enduring importance to the circuit.

Da Butcherman – The Horror Across Borders
The reigning SPW SEA Champion has been a familiar face throughout the region. In Malaysia, he made regular appearances for MYPW in 2023, including the memorable Champions Quest event where The Horrors dropped the SPW Tag Team Titles to The Juicy Boyz. His footprint in Thailand goes back to 2022, when he and Dr. Gore defeated a young Shivam and Pakse at SETUP Thailand Episode 8. In the Philippines, Butcherman has been a constant presence, wrestling in both MWF and DEXCON since 2019, while in Vietnam he has squared off with Rocky in 2023 and more recently earned a decisive win over Sid Nguyen. With whispers of another Vietnam return on the horizon, Butcherman remains one of the circuit’s most active and feared competitors.

Dr. Gore
It is impossible to mention Butcherman without also highlighting his long-time partner in The Horrors. Dr. Gore’s journey across Southeast Asia is just as storied, with his earliest international experience coming from the original Gatoh Move shows in Thailand in 2016. In the Philippines, he not only teamed alongside Butcherman but also stood out in singles competition, most notably against the much-missed SJM. His Vietnam milestone came in 2024, when he wrestled at the Asia Wrestling Summit in Vietnam, finally completing his own circuit run. From his beginnings to his present role as a regional ambassador, Dr. Gore has consistently shown the depth of Singapore’s influence.

Cheese Burger Kid
The ever-popular Cheese Burger Kid completed his circuit in 2025, marking an important chapter in his still-rising career. This past year alone, he faced MSG in a Jack N’Cheese tag match at DEXCON Dakila in the Philippines, teamed with Jack against Good Deal in Bangkok, and later traveled to Vietnam for a high-energy contest with the Vung Tau Experience. Long before completing his loop, CBK had already established himself in Malaysia as a popular upper midcarder for APAC Wrestling, winning over crowds with his infectious personality.

The Statement Andreuw Tang
No list of Singapore circuit finishers would be complete without The Statement. One of the country’s true trailblazers, he finally secured his Vietnam stamp at the Asia Wrestling Summit in Da Nang earlier this year, completing his own regional journey. In Malaysia, he has long been a staple of MYPW and now proudly carries the SETUP Openweight Championship as a key member of Real Global Threat. His connection with the Philippines stretches back to 2016, where he wrestled in the early days of MWF, later returning in 2019 for tag matches that saw him face — and later ally with — Jake De Leon. Over the years, The Statement’s consistency across promotions has made him not just a Singapore mainstay but a pillar of Southeast Asian wrestling as a whole.

Alexis Lee
Alexis Lee holds the distinction of being one of the first women to complete the SEA circuit, sharing that honor with Crystal when they faced each other in their Vietnam debuts. Her journey has been as varied as it is groundbreaking. She was part of Thailand’s early Gatoh Move days, challenged Matcha for the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title in Vietnam, and debuted in Malaysia at MYPW Evo 1 in 2017 in a hard-fought triple threat alongside Poppy and Nor “Phoenix” Diana. In the Philippines, she was competing as early as 2016, facing off against Fabio Makisig in a rugged encounter. Lee’s career reflects not just her personal achievements, but the strides women’s wrestling has made in Southeast Asia.

John Day
Known today as Straight Sauce on the UK circuit, John Day returned to Southeast Asia in 2025 with one clear goal: complete the circuit he started years earlier. That summer tour saw him enter the VPW Rumble in Vietnam before appearing in the Magnificent Open at Dexcon Peks Man in the Philippines. His journey dates back to Malaysia in 2018, when he wrestled Double K at MYPW Evo 3, and to Thailand in 2024, where he clashed with Pakse. By the time his 2025 tour concluded, Day had finally earned his place among Singapore’s circuit completionists, cementing his cross-continental career.
Singapore’s Legacy in the SEA Circuit
From pioneers like Mighty Mighty to champions like The Statement and trailblazers like Alexis Lee, Singapore’s wrestlers have shaped the identity of Southeast Asian wrestling. By crossing borders, they have strengthened bonds between promotions, expanded fanbases, and pushed the scene forward as a collective. Their efforts have not only elevated Singapore’s reputation but also proven how interconnected the region’s wrestling truly is.
So give them their due, follow their journeys, and watch their matches — because Singapore continues to lead the charge in connecting Southeast Asia through wrestling.
