SPW Hardcore Island 3 Preview

This Friday, Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW) returns to the Foo Chow Building for Hardcore Island 3 — one of the most anticipated events on the SPW calendar. The focus this time is on the hardcore side of professional wrestling.

Don’t expect technical showcases, glamorous holds, or graceful flips. Expect all-out war between competitors determined to leave a mark before the anniversary show, Los Tranquilos. With November approaching, the entire SPW roster will be out to make a statement and earn valuable title opportunities at the top of the card.

SPW Hardcore Championship – Singapore Cane Match

Bryson Blade (c) vs Referee Ryan

After months of being bullied by Bryson Blade, Referee Ryan has finally had enough. The usually mild-mannered official is stepping into the ring for a Singapore Cane Match to take revenge on the Hardcore Champion.

Ryan has been pushed past his breaking point — and this match is his chance to stand up to the tormentor who’s been making his life miserable.

Madkat Karina vs Ray

After a long sabbatical training with Carlo Cannon, Ray returns to prove himself — perhaps to his “better half,” Selina.

Selina previously defeated Madkat Karina without Ray’s help, so he may be feeling the pressure to impress. A new arsenal of moves imported from Australia might help, but Madkat has her own goals.

Currently 0–2 in SPW, the promising rookie badly needs a win to climb the ranks and one day challenge the Queen of Asia. For both competitors, this match is about pride and redemption.

Halloween Battle Royal

Costumes, chaos, and carnage will rule the night in this special Halloween Battle Royal.

The question isn’t just who will win — but what wild costumes the competitors will wear. Expect silliness, surprises, and over-the-top antics to close out Hardcore Island 3 in true SPW fashion.

Dr. Gore Joins the Halloween Battle Royal

There’s something darker about Dr. Gore lately. While always unhinged, the veteran seems more violent than ever — intent on injuring opponents and working his way toward singles gold.

After his planned opponent Destroyer Dharma suffered an injury, Gore now finds himself added to the Halloween Battle Royal.

Will someone risk a check-up, or will the Doctor remain on call?

Jack N’ Cheese vs Real Global Threat – Table Match

At Heartland Havoc, following a successful title defense by Jack N’ Cheese over the Legion of Total Anarchy, Real Global Threat’s Emman Azman and The Statement stormed the ring to assault the champions and demand a title shot.

Surprisingly, the match was sanctioned for Hardcore Island 3 — but under RGT’s own “freebie rules,” announced at SETUP: Paranoid. The Golden Boy will be replaced by Shivam, making this a dangerous configuration for the reigning champions.

The two founding members of RGT make a formidable pairing, but Jack N’ Cheese — who previously fought and defeated The Juicy Boys in a bitter rivalry — aren’t likely to back down.

RGT may have made a costly mistake by swapping out Azman, losing their speed advantage over the lightning-quick Cheeseburger Kid. Still, the team might believe they need raw power to take on Big Good Jack, who seems more than ready to send someone crashing through wood.

Aiden Rex vs Emman – No Disqualification Submission Match

What does Emman Azman need to do to get a fair shake in SPW? After suffering multiple controversial losses, he’s demanding a clean fight against the crafty Aiden Rex.

Rex’s last match — a triple threat with Wonderboy — saw him fake an injury to steal a victory. This time, there will be no disqualifications, no excuses, and no shortcuts.

It’s one-on-one, and Emman is determined to finally score the win he deserves against the former SPW SEA Champion.

Alexis Lee vs Lacey Lane

While this may be a non-title match, Alexis Lee won’t be taking it lightly. As arguably the top female wrestler in Southeast Asia, she has fended off numerous international challengers. Now, she faces a global name from the West — Lacey Lane.

Lane is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion who has shared the ring with some of the best, including Mercedes Moné. Part Filipino, she’s coming to Southeast Asia to find out what the buzz is about and make an impact.

But she may have met her Southeast Asian match in Singapore’s own “Queen of Asia,” Alexis Lee.

SPW Southeast Asian Championship – Extreme Rules

Da Butcherman (c) vs Shigehiro Irie

After Heartland Havoc’s no-contest ending due to RGT’s interference, both violent competitors were left unsatisfied. True to form, Da Butcherman has now set up an Extreme Rules match against one of Japan’s most dangerous heavyweights, Shigehiro Irie.

This could easily become the most violent match in Southeast Asia this year. SEA Wrestling expects a brutal clash where one perfectly timed slam or suplex could decide everything.

Irie will be looking to claim gold he can take home, while Butcherman already has his eyes on a title opportunity in Vietnam the following night — a distraction that could prove costly.
