Weekend 6–7 June Results Roundup
Southeast Asian wrestling took to the mats for most of its shows this week. Calling these "mat shows" almost doesn't do them justice — each was a unique spectacle in its own right. The Lab took over a fancy cocktail bar in Bangkok for another strong style, street fighter-infused experiment at Lemon Bar. Grapplemax became Pasar Pro Wrestling at Pasar Pink, putting on a more lighthearted, fun, and inclusive pair of shows. Then, down the road at Room 526, Keep 'Em Separated 2 delivered a hardcore, anything-goes spectacle like nothing seen before.
The main full-ring show of the weekend should not be forgotten either, as APAC Wrestling delivered an unforgettable Trial By Fire that left fans stunned by the unpredictable results come the end of the evening.
APAC Wrestling — Trial By Fire (6th June)
Despite a seemingly reduced crowd, the fans were as always loud and fully into the action on both sides of the floor.
The evening opened with Shaheen defeating Arash Keylon with a flying cutter in a spirited opener.
The first Trial By Fire match followed, contested for the APAC Wrestling Championship. Shaukat got his revenge on Double K before he and Alfa Nazri double-pinned Dreamkiller Azroy, confirming a new champion would be crowned. In the end, Alfa missed a dive from the top and Shaukat hit a jackhammer-like maneuver to claim the title. In a shocking turn, Shaukat then declared he shouldn't have to carry the company and that the young boys should be working harder to be in his shoes.
Serigala then defeated Raga Ngadai and Razif "Fiyah" Razin in a triple threat match, before calling out Damien Slater for a future bout.
The second Trial By Fire match ended when Alfa Nazri attacked The Crescent Kid during his entrance, took his spot, and won the match.
Hendo Ramli then picked up a pin over Aerial Snyper NYC.
In the final match of the night, Mio Shirai defeated Maya Hartsteel in the women's Trial By Fire match to become the new APAC Women's Champion.
Some of the outcomes were genuinely shocking — Diana had been widely expected to take the women's title, with Maya or Crystal as the main outliers. Meanwhile, the men's championship picture is now fascinating, with both Shaukat and Alfa developing clear heel tendencies that make the situation captivating.

Grapplemax — Pasar Pro Wrestling (Pasar Pink)
Grapplemax ran two shows this weekend at Pasar Pink, once again turning heads as they took over the stage in the main hall.
Day 1 Results:
GST & Tydus defeated Heaven & Nish
Shawn Phang bested Joses and Wildfire Remus
SPD & Radiant Rui defeated Devin Zemir & Jinn Kai
Day 2 results to be updated.

Keep 'Em Separated 2 (Room 526, Singapore)
One of the most talked-about one-offs of the year, Emmadkat's first music and wrestling show was a huge success — and luckily fans didn't have to wait long for a return. Once again headlined by the promoting couple facing off, this was a hotly anticipated grudge match that blew expectations and left attendees' jaws on the floor.
Mason defeated Black Kat in a hard and brutal contest that saw him asphyxiate the feline with a plastic bag.
Jack N' Cheese took down Jack Alexander and Bryson Blade in an anything-goes contest that saw the action spill out and around the building, with the monstrous BGJ once again throwing Jack Alexander around like a ragdoll.
LOVE X FRDM's victory over Dr Gore and Tok Bomoh Mekong is yet to be officially confirmed, though Mekong did debut a new ghoulish manager. Mekong's mystic coconut was used to seal the win for Fienic Rose and The Love Warrior Syawal.
The main event between Emman and Karina was a raucous affair — Emman was cut open on cymbals, objects were swung freely, Karina was jabbed with skewers, and thumbtacks made an appearance in what may be the most hardcore match ever seen in Southeast Asia. Karina ended up choking out Emman to take the win.

The Lab Experiment 4 (Lemon Bar, Bangkok)
Jonathan Johnson vs Naga Nai
An interesting opener to watch JJ restricted to the ground and a smaller landscape — one he adapted to well. Meanwhile, the recent series of losses is helping Naga Nai add some human elements back into his gimmick. The godlike warrior character has been enjoyable, but the evolution is worth watching.
The ending flurry between the two was the most exciting section of the match — faster, higher-impact offence building into a crossface submission victory for JJ.
Manuel vs Anot Alonzo
A strike-heavy start, with the Openweight Champion controlling most of the match. Manuel took his punishment well and even got desperate enough to throw in some hellish biting. Despite the attempts, the sleeper hold was locked in for the choke-out victory. A strong showing from newcomer Manuel, who will have learnt a lot from the experience.
After the match, Alonzo reminded us he's a bad guy by putting the boots in.
Kevin Weng vs "The Sour Martini" Dewdy
First chance to hear the Mortal Kombat-esque "the experiment begins" at the start of a match — a nice touch.
The two felt each other out with stalling and traded holds early. The theme was mostly built around the increasingly confident Dewdy's brash attitude, while Weng offered spirited, typically speedy offence — including a jump off a chair. Dewdy spent a lot of the match trying to ground Weng and chase roll-ups, which was a clever piece of psychology. Some surprisingly sharp kicks from Dewdy led to a single-leg Boston crab from Weng, but in the end, it was those fancy roll-ups that did the job for Dewdy.
A nice match. Weng was the only wrestler on the card who seemed to stick to a more conventional style, which made sense given his schoolboy naivety as a character.
IWA Japan World Championship: Shivam © vs P-Nutz
Shivam made the mistake of trying to outwrestle the maniacal P-Nutz and paid for it early — brutalised before a heavy dropkick put him further on the back foot. The match did well to highlight the mentor vs mentee dynamic, with the stronger, more unhinged P-Nutz taking the heel role against the champion — a novelty you don't see often these days.
A mistimed splash off a chair allowed Shivam to take control, and we saw the Shivam we know — applying strikes, stomps, and crippling holds to wear his aggressive opponent down. P-Nutz regained momentum and got his "holy s**t" moment lifting Shivam clean before connecting with a German suplex, leaving both men down. A brutal lariat should have put Shivam away, but the champion kicked out on instinct — and while P-Nutz tried to shake off the cobwebs, Shivam hit the Le Magistral Cradle to retain in just shy of 13 minutes.
After the bell, Shivam gave props to his former mentor to close out the show.
This was my first Lab Experiment watched in full — I haven't caught shows 1 or 2 yet, but I will. What's clear already is that this isn't just SETUP on a mat. The wrestlers fight differently here. It's more akin to a return to Gatoh Move, but more violent. Wrestlers adapt where needed — more roll-ups, more strikes — and that's exactly what makes it work.

Puso Wrestling — Livestream XIV
Puso Wrestling returned with another livestream — which have become the default pre-shows to any main card event when they get the chance to run one. This marked the 14th Livestream and the first using Puso's new ring.
Results:
Jake De Leon & Nigel San Jose defeated Solomon and Serafin Liwanag in a spirited encounter
Gabriel Arkangel beat Hakai Mateo via DQ after the Otaku Crusader lost control once again
Super P & Joya defeated Starling & Trainee Kenzo in the main event
