Southeast Asian wrestlers dazzle Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend.
Southeast Asian wrestlers made their presence felt in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend, stepping onto some of the busiest and most competitive independent stages of the year.
While global attention was fixed on CM Punk versus Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania, thousands of fans across the city were also treated to a packed schedule of independent shows. Among them were several standout performers from Southeast Asia, representing the region on a truly international platform.
Following a strong showing at Lodestone—where she even shared the ring with Bayley—CWE Vixen’s Champion Super P continued her U.S. run with appearances for Spark Joshi Pro Wrestling. Competing on the “Lady Luck” double-header, she came up short against Kaia McKenna and Airicia Demia, but remained a visible and active presence across the weekend.
Singapore’s Alexis Lee, the reigning Queen of Asia Champion, also had a demanding schedule. She competed in a tag team match alongside Mei Seira, losing to Aleah James and AZM. Lee later appeared for Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling, where Pom Harajuku, Raku, and Yuki Aino defeated Lee, HIMAWARI, and Shino Suzuki in six-woman tag action. Her weekend continued with additional matches against Viva Van at Big Time Wrestling’s “High Stakes” and Niki XS at Divas and Drag Wrestling, although confirmed results for those bouts have yet to surface.
Thailand’s Monomoth, the SETUP Openweight and Tag Team Champion, was equally active. He competed twice for Game Changer Wrestling, first in the chaotic “Cluster****” at Joey Janela’s Spring Break, and later in a ten-person tag team match at Effy’s Big Gay Brunch. In that contest, Billy Dixon, Devon Monroe, Jai Vidal, Jordan Blade, and Keita Murray secured the win over Anton Voorhees, Brooke Havok, Gabby Forza, Hunter Gallagher, and Monomoth.
One of Monomoth’s most notable appearances came at Divas and Drag Wrestling, where he faced Kidd Bandit in a match that has taken on added significance, as it is believed to be among the final bouts before Bandit’s retirement.
Across multiple promotions and cards, Southeast Asian talent not only secured valuable experience but also left a strong impression. Reports from the weekend indicate that these wrestlers were well received by live audiences and peers alike, reinforcing the region’s growing reputation within the global independent wrestling scene.
