Southeast Asian Match Updates: The LAB, PUSO Wrestling, Ring of Rebirth and SPW

Four promotions across Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore have announced cards over the coming weeks. Below is a rundown of every match confirmed so far, along with venue and ticket details. All match details are taken from the promotions' own announcements and match graphics.

The LAB: Experiment 06 (Thailand)

Friday 28 August 2026 | Tai Siam, Siam Kit Building Floor 2 | Doors 7.30pm, bell 8pm

The LAB moves into a larger research hub for its sixth event, and the extra space has changed what the promotion is willing to book. All five previous experiments featured singles matches only. Experiment 06 breaks that pattern with a battle royal and the promotion's first two-on-two match.

Monomoth vs Matcha (c) vs Fienic Rose, SETUP All Asia Women's Championship

Matcha defends the SETUP All Asia Women's Championship in a three-way. The LAB has framed the booking around gender equality, with the champion facing two of Southeast Asia's leading LGBTQ+ wrestlers.

The promotion has also positioned the result as having consequences beyond this show. The LAB says the outcome could change the direction of SETUP: Under The Same Moon, and that disrupting the upcoming anniversary event is one of RGT's stated objectives.

The Experimental 11-Man Battle Royal

Eleven wrestlers enter at predetermined intervals, with victory by pinfall or submission. Because entry order is fixed rather than chosen, the promotion notes that wrestlers from the same team may end up facing each other.

Several competitors are making their LAB debut. Among them is CK Vin, a former SPW Champion, who has opted to appear at Experiment 06 rather than the SETUP event. The eleventh entrant is billed only as 'X', a mystery wrestler whose identity will not be revealed until the day of the show.

Bad Company (P-Nutz and Golem Thai) vs HY/OP (Isaiah Valencia and JDL), International Tag Team Match

The first two-on-two match in LAB history, and a cross-border one. Golem Thai makes his LAB debut here, while Bad Company and Jake De Leon carry a shared history spanning more than ten years.

The timing is the hook. Jake De Leon is scheduled to compete in a main event alongside RGT on Saturday 29 August, and Isaiah Valencia challenges for the Thai wrestling championship on the same day. Both men go into this tag match with a major booking waiting for them the following night.

PUSO Wrestling: Wild Heart (Philippines)

Super P (c) vs Crystal, CWE Vixen's Championship

Crystal has been on a run of form in recent months, and Super P has been one of her targets. The Pinoy Wrestling Superhero called Crystal out on PUSO Wrestling Online Episode 2, and GM Sonny Go has since made the title match official.

MSG (Chelsea Marie and Kenzo Sy) vs HSSL (Joya and Robin Sane)

The Mr. Sy Family of Talents adds Kenzo Sy, Mr. Sy's own brother, who teams with Chelsea Marie. They face two of HSSL's quickest members in DEXCON Women's World Champion Joya and Robin Sane.

HIT and Hakai Mateo vs TriXia and Alien Friend

Hakai Mateo, the Otaku Crusader, brings in a new ally from Japan in HIT. Their opponents are the unpredictable pairing of TriXia and Alien Friend, with PUSO noting that the former Pinay Wrestling Sweetheart has embraced a darker side.

ROR Comedy Wrestling: Showtime vs Bomoh (Singapore)

Showtime vs Tok Bomoh Mekong (c), ROR World Heavyweight Championship

Ring of Rebirth has been direct about the tone of this one. By the promotion's own account, Showtime attacked ROR World Heavyweight Champion Tok Bomoh Mekong with a baseball bat at the last show, choked him out and left him unresponsive in the ring, doing so in front of Bomoh's wife and child.

The rematch is for the title. Around it, ROR is running a lineup of stand-up comedians and a set of undercard matches the promotion describes as wild and friendly. Undercard participants have not been announced at the time of writing.

SPW Overdrive (Singapore)

Riz vs Tok Bomoh Mekong

The Hunting Wolf meets an opponent he has crossed paths with before, though SPW is careful to note the distinction: the spirit now inhabiting the man Riz once knew as Sayn RH is not the same. The two have shared multi-man matches previously, but this is their first singles meeting.

This is also Tok Bomoh Mekong's second Singapore booking in a fortnight, following the ROR title defence on 5 September.

Bryson Blade and 'Boombox' Terrance vs Mighty Mighty and Ryan Shen

Bryson Blade continues to mentor new Legion of Total Anarchy member Terrance. Across the ring are tag team veteran Mighty Mighty and Blade's old rival Ryan Shen, a pairing with no established history as a team.
