Southeast Asian Wrestling News Roundup — Wednesday, 25th February 2025
It’s been a busy weekend in SEA Wrestling, with more than six live wrestling events across Southeast Asia. This was a monumental occurrence for fans, as all the ticketed events had sell-outs or near sell-outs in advance — showcasing the rapid growth and future potential of professional wrestling in Southeast Asia.
Pro Wrestling in Malaysia — APAC's Rage in the Cage
APAC Wrestling hosted the first pro wrestling event in Malaysia on Sunday, Rage in the Cage. This unique event featured all-cage matches inside an MMA-style octagon, pushing wrestlers to adapt their styles. Despite the enclosed environment, wrestlers went all out, taking big risks to win the coveted “contract in a case” for an APAC Title shot.
Key results:
Mighty Eddie Emil defeated “The Sigma Beast” Serigala in the tournament finals.
Azroy retained his APAC title against Cheese Burger Kid.
Stay tuned for more results as they appear, and follow APAC Wrestling Malaysia on social media for photos, videos, and match updates.
Filipino Pro Wrestling Results — Secret Show 2025
Filipino Pro Wrestling (FPW) kicked off 2025 with their first live show, Secret Show. The walk-up event drew a packed crowd, serving as a warm-up for the Astig tapings next month.
Match results:
LegenDarius The Great vs. Cali Nueva (result pending)
Thiago defeated Giga Herraro

Singapore Pro Wrestling News — Grapplemax & SPW
Grapplemax Wrestling Singapore hosted Causeway Jam to a sell-out audience, with owner Greg suggesting they might need a bigger venue next time. Meanwhile, Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW)’s next show, Unchained, is already an advance sell-out.
Ring of Rebirth (ROR) announced several matches for Fast 4 Ever on March 1st:
Eurasian Dragon vs. Noor (Fast 4 Ever match)

Vietnam Pro Wrestling Results — Spring Bash & Saigon Slam
Vietnam Pro Wrestling (VPW) hosted Spring Bash, another SEA Wrestling sellout. In the main event, The British Horror defeated Rocky Huynh in a Devil’s Barbershop Match, forcing Rocky to shave his head bald.
