SETUP Wrestling Announces Full Card for A New Dawn

SETUP Wrestling has confirmed the full match card for A New Dawn, taking place on November 14, 2025 — the promotion’s first-ever event in Japan. Partnering with IWA Japan and featuring crossovers with DDT, NJPW, and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, this show marks a new step for Thailand’s growing wrestling scene.

With a lineup blending Southeast Asian talent and Japanese veterans, A New Dawn showcases how far the region’s wrestling ecosystem has evolved in just a few short years.

Double Main Event I – Ace vs Ace

Shivam (RGT) vs HARASHIMA (DDT)

Representing Real Grappling Thailand, Shivam has quickly become one of Southeast Asia’s leading names. The current MYPW SEA Champion, he’s defeated every challenger in front of him and carries the responsibility of representing Thailand on a major international stage. His mix of athletic intensity and striking power has defined his rise as RGT’s central figure.

Facing him is HARASHIMA, one of the most accomplished wrestlers in DDT Pro Wrestling history. Known for his technical precision, experience, and adaptability, HARASHIMA stands as one of Japan’s most respected veterans. The Ace vs Ace billing fits perfectly — a defining encounter between the leaders of two wrestling cultures.

Double Main Event II – Champion vs Champion

Jonathan Johnson (IWA Japan SETUP World Champion) vs El Phantasmo (NJPW World TV Champion)

SETUP’s top titleholder Jonathan Johnson continues his run as IWA Japan SETUP World Champion, becoming the first foreigner to hold the belt. Known for his power-based offense and calm control, Johnson’s rise mirrors SETUP’s own international growth.

His opponent, El Phantasmo (ELP), enters from New Japan Pro Wrestling carrying the NJPW World TV Championship. ELP’s mix of humor, charisma, and aerial precision makes him a standout in any ring. This cross-promotional clash is a symbolic test of Thailand’s champion against an NJPW mainstay.

SETUP Thailand Openweight Championship – Three-Way Match

Monomoth (Champion) vs Daz Black vs Shinno Hagane

Thailand’s Monomoth reclaimed the Openweight Title in stunning fashion, winning it within seconds of his comeback match. Known for his blend of raw power and high-risk offense, he embodies SETUP’s new generation of confident, fast-paced performers.

Daz Black, the Scottish standout, brings global experience and high-flying precision from years of international travel. His technical awareness and aerial skill make him a consistent threat in multi-competitor bouts.

Rounding out the match is Shinno Hagane, a disciplined technician from Japan whose hard-hitting strikes and calm focus make him a dangerous challenger. Together, the three promise a clash of styles and temperaments that reflects the global nature of modern wrestling.

SETUP All Asia Women’s Championship – Three-Way Bangkok Deathmatch

Matcha (Champion) vs Pom Harajuku vs Ram Kaichow

Matcha continues to define women’s wrestling in Southeast Asia through creativity and charisma. Her reign as All Asia Women’s Champion has been marked by unpredictable challenges and a willingness to take risks.

Pom Harajuku, a popular name from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, brings her signature mix of humor and heart. Her underdog energy often surprises opponents who underestimate her resilience.

Ram Kaichow, with her gothic persona and deathmatch roots, adds chaos and danger to the mix. Known for her fearlessness and unpredictability, she thrives in violent stipulations. The Bangkok Deathmatch rules ensure that this bout will test all three competitors in new ways.

IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Championship – Three-Way Match

RGT (Champions) vs TJPW Team vs KWO

The RGT Tag Team Champions continue their momentum after a dominant run in Thailand. Their style mixes shoot-style intensity with synchronized athleticism, setting the benchmark for Thai tag wrestling.

The Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling team introduces a contrasting approach — crisp execution and storytelling-driven teamwork built from years on the Japanese circuit.

Finally, the masked duo KWO (Kaiju World Order) bring a sense of unpredictability and spectacle, combining brute strength with showmanship. This match underlines the depth of SETUP’s tag division and its growing international ties.

Special Singles Match

Kagura vs Anont Alonzo

Kagura, a masked performer from Japan’s freelance and joshi circles, fuses mysticism and martial arts to create a distinctive in-ring identity. Her presence alone adds cultural texture to the card.

Her opponent, Anont Alonzo, represents the next wave of Thai wrestling. Having split from his Good Deal tag partner P. Suachart, Alonzo steps into this match aiming to prove himself as a singles competitor. His speed, confidence, and crowd connection make him a key figure in SETUP’s evolving landscape.

A New Dawn stands as a statement of intent — not only for SETUP Wrestling, but for Southeast Asian wrestling as a whole. By hosting its first show in Japan and featuring collaborations with NJPW, DDT, TJPW, and IWA Japan, the promotion is positioning Thailand as a serious player in the regional and international scene.

SEA Wrestling will continue to provide coverage leading up to the event and report on all results from A New Dawn on November 14, 2025.
