Malaysia Pro Wrestling – New Breed 4 This Weekend

Malaysia Pro Wrestling returns with New Breed 4 this weekend. We’ve already published our preview which can be read here.

SETUP Absolute Mayhem – New Matches

SETUP Thailand confirmed two new matches this week as Bad Company will face off against the men they attacked last show in Naga Nai and P’Suachart. The duo who know each other well from training days may have ideology differences now but will put these aside to gain revenge.

It was also confirmed that Jack N’ Cheese will return to the promotion in a contenders match for the SETUP Tag Team Championships against the reunited St John’s College of Pondhub & Kevin Weng.

Tickets are available for the show in Bangkok on May 2nd.

Grapplemax Announce Title Matches for NWE Homecoming

Grapplemax began to announce matches for their show NWE Homecoming on April 11th from Grapplemax Studios.

In two battles pitting NWE’s brightest against veterans:

• Ban Sachak defends his Rising Championship against Nish

• SPD faces Tydus in non-title action

Unfortunately, the show is SOLD OUT if you have no ticket.

DEXCON Fill Out DITO Naman Card

DEXCON got busy filling out the DITO Naman card this week announcing Hakai Mateo will take on Hawk Eye Mateo. This match, an apology for cancelling his match at Wrestlestorm 3, has been promised to be a banger. It will likely be another Miguel segment.

FPW Adds Intergender Match

Ice Ribbon trained Penny Haze will be continuing her fast rise by taking on Thiago at Pagsubok Sa QC in an intergender challenge that is sure to raise her stock even more.

Real Global Threat in Full Force at VPW Saigon Slam Jam

Confirmed today was the announcement that three members of Real Global Threat would return to Vietnam Pro Wrestling, likely as allies.

Shivam, Jake De Leon and The Statement will all join the already announced VPW regulars including The Classic Night, The Rocky Horror Show, Ares, Meteor Kid among others.

VPW Saigon Slam Jam – Early Expectations

With the addition of Real Global Threat to the card, it appears this is building towards something larger for VPW.

We would expect RGT to feature in a multi-man match, likely against Ares and The Classic Night.

With The Rocky Horror Show owed a title opportunity (which may also include Hy Draco), there is also a strong possibility that Ares is positioned into a championship match instead, which could shift the expected lineup.

Kushida returned to New Japan Pro Wrestling this week with his FPW Championship in hand, representing the brand globally.

TJPW Returns to Kuala Lumpur

Announced a few days ago, TJPW will return for another joint show with DDT and KLP48 branded as “Love X Peace.”

We are not sure if MYPW is involved but popular Hyper Misao will be in action.
