It’s been a busy week across Southeast Asia’s wrestling scene, with new promotions emerging, rivalries heating up, and familiar faces returning in unexpected ways. From FPW’s latest results and international appearances to APAC Wrestling’s upcoming matches and a major launch in Indonesia, here’s everything making headlines this week in SEA wrestling.

FPW Spooky Show Results


FPW returned this past weekend with Spooky Show, held once again at their undisclosed base of operations. The event featured several new faces making their debut appearances. Ralph Imabayashi successfully defended the Metro Manila Championship against LegenDarius The Great, while Jan Evander picked up a win over Proximo. Robynn claimed victory over newcomer Penny Haze, SIGMA (AB3 & Jason Rex) defeated debuting duo Rated SPG, and Zabos, also debuting, scored a win over Revo Ranger (Duke Ortega).

Devan and Kelvin Compete in Australia

Grapplemax’s Devan made his international debut in Perth, Western Australia, performing at Explosive Professional Wrestling’s event at the Phat Brew Club. Fellow Grapplemax talent Kelvin Lang was also part of the show, with both appearing to take part in a large battle royal. Devan later shared a photo from the Willeton Basketball Stadium, suggesting further activity during their Australian trip.

Documentary Spotlight: Erfie Blackheart

Fans of wrestling documentaries can now watch Erfie Blackheart, which follows the early stages of the Ring of Rebirth wrestler’s career. The feature, reminiscent of series such as The Wrestlers and WWE Unreal, is available on YouTube.

APAC Wrestling: Reality Check Updates

APAC Wrestling has confirmed a tag team match for Reality Check, featuring Eurasian Dragon and Double K taking on Hendo Ramli and Serigala. The pairing stems from ongoing tensions following Slamfest, as all four competitors look to settle their respective rivalries.

Additionally, Crystal has issued an open challenge, promising a surprise opponent that could come from anywhere in the world.

Nor “Phoenix” Diana at WWE Crown Jewel Events

During WWE’s recent Crown Jewel media activities in Saudi Arabia, Nor “Phoenix” Diana was seen alongside WWE Superstars Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Diana also conducted her own interviews with several WWE talents for social media, marking another noteworthy step for the APAC standout and current top contender for the WWE ID Women’s Championship.

Carlo Cannon Returns to the Philippines

Veteran Australian wrestler Carlo Cannon has been in the Philippines ahead of Sari Sari Slam, spending time working with and mentoring local and regional talent, continuing his ongoing support of the Southeast Asian wrestling scene.

Top Dojo: Battle of the Clans (October 19)

Top Dojo’s Battle of the Clans event is set for October 19 at Motorway Dojo. The show will feature a triple threat main event between P-Nutz (Bad Company), Best Boonpa (Revolution Squad), and WASSANA (Exotic Kaiju) — a rare meeting of all three clans.

Also scheduled are singles matches between P-Nutz and Prince Benny, Best Boonpa and Golem Thai, and a bout pitting trainee CHAYUT against WASSANA.

SPW: Aiden Rex vs. Emman Intensifies

Ahead of Hardcore Island 3, tensions have risen between Aiden Rex and Emman. Their upcoming submissions-only match leaves no room for escapes or excuses. Aiden has been unapologetic about his previous actions, while Emman has vowed to make his former mentor pay for his betrayal on October 24.

Aiden Rex vs. BUSHI Set for SPW Tranquilo

Singapore Pro Wrestling has also announced that Aiden Rex will face Japanese star BUSHI at SPW Tranquilo. The bout promises a mix of technical wrestling and high-flying action, with Aiden’s unpredictable attitude adding another layer of intrigue.

AFAM Steve Returns to Dexcon — for Singing?

AFAM Steve is set to make his return to Dexcon at Sari-Sari Slam, but this time not inside the ring. Fans will get to see the Pambansang Bestie in a different spotlight as he performs live, serenading the audience and his “besties” on October 16 at the Brawlpit Bulusan.

Bali Pro Wrestling Launches, Plans First Event for 2026


Bali Pro Wrestling (BPW) has officially launched with the goal of developing Indonesia’s pro wrestling scene and positioning Bali as a new regional hub. Founded by Adri Kumara and Australian wrestler Blake Mitchell, BPW is already in talks with promotions such as Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MYPW) to establish partnerships and talent exchanges. Its debut event, BPW: First Strike, is scheduled for 2026, with early discussions including potential appearances from talents such as Emman Azman, Bobby Sinaga, and Kojiro Akuma.

BPW is also collaborating with Indonesia Pro Wrestling (IDPW) to strengthen local training and performance opportunities through shared workshops and athlete exchanges. With Bali’s growing tourism and entertainment market, BPW aims to blend competition and storytelling while helping new Indonesian wrestlers gain professional experience on an international stage.
