SPW Queen of Asia Champion, Selina Profiled by Her World Singapore

Her World Singapore published a long profile of SPW Queen of Asia Champion Selina on 3 September, written by Charis Gan. Away from wrestling she is a kindergarten English teacher in Singapore, and the piece follows both halves of that schedule in some detail.

The article covers her introduction to wrestling as a child through her grandfather, her first training class at Singapore Pro Wrestling at the age of nineteen, her debut in a three-way match with Alexis Lee and Luna Inez, the four years she spent away from the sport from 2020, and her return to SPW in 2024. It also records that she is one of only three women on a roster of twenty-three wrestlers, and that she won the Queen of Asia Championship from Alexis Lee in July.

Grapplemax's Heaven & Earth in Korea

Number one contenders to the Grapplemax Tag Team Championships, Heaven & Earth, were recently in competition in South Korea.

Simon Siah and Lahrvin DeShadow took part in WWA Korea's two-day Wrestle Planet event, which was part of Sound Planet Festival 2026 at Paradise City in Incheon.

According to the post from Grapplemax - On Saturday, 5 September, they were slated to team up with two top Korean pro wrestlers, “Best In Korea” Jo Kyungho and the WWA World Heavyweight Champion Kim Minho in a 4v4 tag team match! Then, on Sunday, 6 September, allies were to become opponents as Jo Kyungho and Kim Minho were taking on Heaven & Earth.

The British Horror Trains With Big Names in British Wrestling

During his recent visit to the UK, former Vietnam Pro Wrestling Champion The British Horror has been putting in some additional ring time with a couple of interesting names.

The first of those was modern British wrestling legend Greg Burridge. The pair were seen working out in the ring in a short video clip posted to Instagram. As well as being a key player in the early days of the British wrestling revival in the early 2000s, Burridge was instrumental in the development and training of Will Ospreay during his early days at The London School of Lucha Libre.

The British Horror also uploaded videos and photos of himself practising in the ring with former RevPro Heavyweight Champion Michael Oku, who most recently main evented Wembley Arena for his home promotion's anniversary show.

APAC Wrestling have announced that they are accepting tryouts for new trainees at their school.

MYPW Announce Next Event

Malaysia Pro Wrestling return to KuAsh Theatre TTDI on 10 October for MYPW: No Rest For The Wicked.

The promotion bills the show as a night of chaos, carnage and unforgettable action, with the best wrestlers from Malaysia and Southeast Asia stepping into the ring, and promises intense rivalries, high-flying action, hard-hitting matches and plenty of surprises.

SETUP All Asia Women's Title Defence Set for Wrestle Princess VII

Shoko Nakajima beat Matcha at Under The Same Moon to take the SETUP All Asia Women's Championship, and TJPW have now confirmed that the title will be defended in Japan at one of their biggest shows of the year.

The match takes place at Wrestle Princess VII on 3 October at Tokyo Ebara Wave Arena Ota, the venue formerly known as Ota City General Gymnasium. No opponent has been named yet. TJPW say they will consult with a number of partner promotions and look worldwide for a suitable challenger, with the announcement to follow soon.

Brawl Hallows Eve Teases

Vietnam Pro Wrestling have already started teasing what to expect at their next event, Brawl Hallows Eve. On the poster is new VPW Vietnam Champion Da Butcherman, who may well take on Hy Draco, the current number one contender. That is speculation on our part rather than anything confirmed.

An exciting promise has also been made by former champion Ares, who says that if the event sells out he will fly back and attend. So make sure you buy those tickets.

Kid Kwago Vs Duke Ortega - FPW Unfinished Business

FPW have announced a special singles match for Unfinished Business: Kid Kwago vs Duke Ortega.

Kid Kwago is back and ready to make up for lost time after a health scare earlier this year. In his way is Duke Ortega, who the promotion describes as having a banner year, breaking down doors and borders and leaving bodies in his wake.

Indonesia Pro Wrestling announce Singles Match

IDPW have announced a singles match between Norman and Luminar for Expo on 26 September.

Grapplemax have revealed matches for both of their upcoming shows this September.

Fast approaching this weekend is the first show in the new studios, NWE Showcase 5, which the promotion has described as a full house . The announced card includes:

• Muhammad Rocket vs Shawn "The Pillar" Phang in an NWE Graduation Match
