Help Kid Kwago

For anyone who hasn't seen — Filipino Pro Wrestling's masked superstar Kid Kwago recently found himself hospitalised with a serious medical condition. The good news: he is now out of ICU and has been discharged from hospital. The challenge: significant medical expenses still need to be covered.

If you are in a position to support Kid Kwago during his recovery, please reach out via DM to his partner Mabie at @whoesome_on_wheels to arrange a donation. Every contribution helps.

Bash at Bahru Fallout

Following the sellout success of Grapplemax's Bash at Bahru, the big story is the developing alliance between Cornelius LOW and Sarah Coldheart. In an intense promo posted to Instagram, LOW declared himself the former tag team champion's new first mate — while Coldheart appeared to be carefully weighing her decision.

It remains to be seen how this plays out at Pink Fest this weekend, where Grapplemax will be putting on two shows.

On a personal note — this storyline is a brilliant example of how to do pro-wrestling storytelling well. Clear character motivations, excellent pacing, and genuine intrigue. It's very exciting to see where this goes.

New Champion in PSE

In news from PSE's recent weekend shows across Bangkok and Pattaya, Chad "The Gift" has reclaimed the PSE Championship from Sunny Z. The events also featured standout matches between Super Crazy and Benji — well worth noting from a pair of shows that deserved wider coverage.

IDPW Announces Now or Never

IDPW have announced a new show titled Now or Never, scheduled for 27 June 2026. More details to follow as the card takes shape.

Sid Nguyen Completes Shoulder Surgery

VPW's Sid Nguyen has posted an update confirming he has successfully completed shoulder surgery. The injury is expected to sideline him longer than his previous setback, but the outlook is positive — with a return to action hoped for in early 2027 if not before.

VPW Holds Successful Women's Seminar

VPW held its first ever women-only academy day — a well-attended and successful event that highlights the promotion's commitment to developing female talent in Vietnam.

SPW Reckoning — Updated Matches

SPW Hardcore Champion MA$ON will defend his title in a seven-way Rumble at SPW Reckoning on July 3. Joining him in the match are former champion Ryan Shen, Mighty Mighty, "Hunting Wolf" Riz, Hustler Ray, "Mad Kat" Karina, and "Boombox" Terrance Choong. Eliminations can only occur by over-the-top-rope throw — both feet must touch the ground. Expect chaos.

Also confirmed for Reckoning: Tok Bomoh Mekong vs Bryson Blade of the Legion of Total Anarchy. Blade will be accompanied by newly conscripted Legion member "Boombox" Terrance Choong, who was forced to join following his loss to Blade. The Bomoh has been in fine form lately — most recently disposing of Wolf Ram Cartel boss Sayn RH and taking over his accounts and belongings. Can he overcome the Legion's numbers game?

Dr Gore will also defend the SPW Singapore Championship against Carlo Cannon when he returns from Europe which was added last night. for those who missed it Cannon attacked his opponent immediately post match at King's Landing.
