SEA Wrestling - Weekend Results Roundup - June 1st 2026
This weekend saw two shows in Singapore with Ring of Rebirth Experience XI and Grapplemax Bash at Bahru both happening on Saturday 30th May. Additionally, we recap the action in Japan from Miles Karu's DDT excursion.
Ring of Rebirth Experience XI
Due to having to reset their account because of a cyber attack, ROR are unable to do livestreams anymore. However, results are coming in from their shows.
The show opened with Nyc taking on Raga Ngadai following a rant by cyber security expert Tobias Frost. The two, as expected, put on a rather compelling mat classic that saw Nyc start on the offence until a lariat from Ngadai changed the dynamic and saw powerful strikes and offence dismantle the most well-rounded wrestler in Singapore today. Despite a spirited comeback, Ngadai was able to knock Nyc off the top and eventually hit his slam finisher for the three to become the number one contender.
This was followed up with the antivirus three-way between Fariz Bravo, Lightsingha Noor and Geylang Green. The three took part in an exciting match that saw a return to form for Green against his less experienced foes. Much of the match saw Green and Bravo taking Noor to town, scoring a double pin which saw the match restarted. However, it was newcomer Bravo who slammed Green and then caused Noor to pass out in a single leg Boston crab to win the match. His prize was not just antivirus but a subscription to the OnlyFans account for Fariza Bravo…his sister's account...errr...lucky lad!
The only other result known right now is that Tok Bomoh Mekond defeated Ahmed Arif in the street fight main event to retain — we will update more later.
Alfred announced he was stepping away to continue his studies. We wish Alfred the best with his future scholarly endeavours.
Grapplemax Bash at Bahru
The sold-out Bash at Bahru happened later the same night and despite a small clash in showtimes, fans could have made the main show of Grapplemax.
Results from the show:
Melvin & Nish defeated Aidie & Alani when Nish hit the fiNISH (get it?) on Aidie. It looks like Alani gave another dynamite performance that could have seen them winning.
Experience defeated youth when Remus hit a solid moonsault on Tydus to get the pin.
The main show kicked off with Simon Siah gaining the fall for Heaven & Earth by pinning Matthews.
Ban Sachak defeated Kelvin Lang and Radiant Rui by pinning Lang with a crucifix pin. After the match, Kelvin brutally assaulted Rui and champion Ban, cementing his rumoured heel turn.
Sarah Coldheart defeated former partner Xtian in a heartbreaking moment when, shockingly, MYPW's Cornelius Low appeared, passed her his cane, which she struck Xtian with to get the pin.
Jinn Kai won the six-way elimination match featuring JT Baba, YC, Shawn Phang, KAL and runner-up Divya.
GST became the new Tag Team Champions after Big Dave hit the Brainbuster on Nathan X.
SPD retained the Openweight Championship by pinning Jullian Creed after Famous Last Words.
The action doesn't slow down from Grapplemax as they return to Pinkfest next weekend!
Miles in Japan
Miles Karu has been busy with a small appearance as a second in the bizarre PPP promotion before appearing in the opening contest of a Super Japan Pro Wrestling show this past week. Wrestling a strong style match, he took a lot of striking punishment from opponent Shota before succumbing to a pinfall.
In a post-match promo, he promised he would start racking up wins soon.
That's it for this week's events — we'll be back midweek for the Newsletter.
