TJPW in Bangkok, Kidd Bandit’s Manila debut, and more from around the region

TJPW Brings Joshi Action to Thailand

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling will make its Thailand debut on Saturday, December 13 with TJPW LIVE in Bangkok. The event will take place at Circus Studio Bangkok, featuring around 10 TJPW talents alongside women’s wrestlers from across Southeast Asia.

The show is being organized with SETUP Thailand Pro Wrestling, marking another major crossover for the scene. Tickets are expected to be released later this month, with match announcements to follow.

Kidd Bandit vs Jake De Leon Confirmed for Manila

After years of anticipation, Kidd Bandit is finally heading to the Philippines. Bandit is set to clash with the Filipino Fighting Rooster Jake De Leon at Sari Sari Slam. Both wrestlers have faced world-class opponents — including Zack Sabre Jr. — but now square off in a long-awaited dream match.
Other confirmed bouts include Chelsea Marie vs Lacey Lane and Carlo Cannon vs Robin Sane. Tickets are already available.

Headlocks & Headbangs: Music Meets Wrestling

Sari Sari hosted the unique crossover show Headlocks & Headbangs on Friday night. Highlights included a group performance of the Super Friends theme by Super P, The Space Bandits, Alien Friend, Patricia Ligia, El Katipunero, Joya, and Robin Sane.

The event also saw the debut of Starling, a new Filipina wrestler who joins the region’s largest women’s roster.

Shaukat Challenges for ROW Gold in Malaysia

On October 25, Malaysia’s pioneer Shaukat will challenge Danny Limelight for the Reality of Wrestling Championship. Limelight, the reigning champion from Booker T’s Texas-based promotion, brings international gold to Kuala Lumpur after Shaukat’s recent victory over Raj Dhesi.

PSE Runs Underground-Style Shows in China

Paradise Sports Entertainment delivered a series of closed-door, live-streamed events in China that drew hundreds of thousands of online viewers. The shows carried an underground atmosphere and featured appearances from Carlo Cannon.

ROR Experience 8 Adds a Twist: Wrestling Meets Eating Contest

Singapore’s ROR EXPERIENCE 8: Semi-Charmed Kinda Life (Sept 28) will feature the first-ever eating contest in ROR history. Alfred steps out from the Geylang Syndicate’s shadow to face off against… a member of the audience.

• If Alfred wins → he earns the right to be in Mr G Raj’s corner against Nyc in the semi-final main event.

• If the fan wins → they claim a special prize and could change the fate of the ROR Championship Tournament.

VPW Reveals New Training Facility in Ho Chi Minh City

Vietnam Pro Wrestling has unveiled its new dedicated academy location in Ho Chi Minh City. The facility, complete with a training ring seen the other week at Primal Fitness, will allow VPW to expand its training program and recruit the next generation of wrestlers.
