SEA Wrestling Weekly News Round-Up 14th February 2026

Tag Team Championship Main Event Confirmed

Vietnam Pro Wrestling has officially confirmed one of the most heavily rumoured matches for Spring Bash, and it is as layered as expected.

The main event will see The Rock Horror Show (Rocky Huynh & British Horror) defend the VPW Tag Team Championships against the makeshift pairing of VPW Champion Ares and Hy Draco.

The build came via a pair of vignettes released this week. In the first, Rocky Huynh and British Horror laid down a calculated challenge: should they retain, the main event of Saigon Slam will become a triple threat championship match involving Ares.

However, the political maneuvering didn’t stop there. In a move that adds further unpredictability, Phuong Nam offered Hy Draco a shot at the VPW Vietnam Championship if he and Ares capture the tag titles.

Strategically, this is a tightly constructed main event. Four of VPW’s modern pillars collide, with championship implications extending beyond the night itself. It’s layered booking that keeps multiple storylines active simultaneously — and keeps Saigon Slam looming in the background.

The Classic Night Hunt “Juicy Meat”

In a contrasting tone, The Classic Night delivered one of the more entertaining vignettes of the week.

On a tongue-in-cheek “quest for Juicy Meat,” the duo ended up at Eddie’s, where images of Miles Karu and Da Butcherman were prominently displayed. The message was clear: they are challenging the winners of the Vietnamania Tag Team Rumble to what is being positioned as a Southeast Asian dream match.

It’s a stylistic clash waiting to happen and another example of VPW leaning into personality-driven storytelling.

The Natural Classics Receive WWE Tryout

Regular VPW visitors The Natural Classics have announced via social media that they will be receiving a WWE tryout.

For Southeast Asian wrestling, this is another marker of the region’s growing international visibility. The pipeline between Australia and Southeast Asia continues to strengthen, and opportunities like this underline that the talent pool here is being monitored at a global level.

Cornelius Low Visits IDPW

As Indonesia works toward establishing a stronger professional wrestling foundation, IDPW welcomed Malaysian veteran Cornelius Low for a guest training session.

Low reportedly delivered technical guidance and ring psychology insight to the aspiring roster. For a developing scene, access to regional veterans is essential in accelerating standards and avoiding early structural mistakes.

We can only hope the trainees absorbed the wisdom — and not any of Low’s less diplomatic tendencies.

MYPW Launch Mailing List

Malaysian Pro Wrestling has opened a mailing list, allowing fans to stay updated on events, announcements, and special offers. For a promotion looking to consolidate its audience, direct-to-fan communication is a smart infrastructure move.

Legendarius Teases the Future

Now “allegedly” retired FPW standout and SEA Wrestling Filipino Rookie of the Year Legendarius continues to fuel speculation about his future.

Recent vignettes filmed by the man himself as well as Sigma brethren hint about what may come next.

SEA Wrestlers Set for Mania Week?

Monomoth is confirmed for Effy's Big Gay Brunch, with rumours circulating about two additional female Southeast Asian wrestlers appearing across the week. Confirmation is pending, but representation on Mania Week platforms continues to be a significant benchmark for the region.
