SEA Wrestling Exclusive Interview with Southeast Asia’s Most Dangerous Man, Shivam

Ever since Real Global Threat (RGT) was formed, the entire Southeast Asian wrestling scene has felt different.

The group brings together some of the best names in the region. Emman Azman from Malaysia, Andruew Tang from Singapore, Jake De Leon from the Philippines, and former KO-D Openweight Champion Chris Brookes. On paper, it already sounded dangerous. In reality, it has become something much bigger.

RGT did not take long to make an impact. Emman Azman shocked fans by turning on his own people in LOVE x FRDM and costing them the IWA Japan SETUP Tag Team titles. Jake De Leon went even further, betraying one of the world’s top technical wrestlers, Zack Sabre Jr. These moments were not just surprises. They were statements.

Now the question everyone keeps asking is simple. Who can actually stop RGT?

Right now, the group sits at the top of Southeast Asia. Andruew Tang and Emman Azman are chasing the SPW Southeast Asia Tag Team titles. Jake De Leon is heading toward a clash with the legendary Minoru Suzuki.

And then there is Shivam. The man behind it all. The one who started RGT.

Last Saturday, Shivam crossed another line. He showed up in Vietnam Pro Wrestling, broke through their bubble, disrupted The Classic Night, and stood in the middle of the ring to raise his middle finger straight at the VPW logo. It was not just disrespect. It was a message.

The reaction was loud, and not in a good way.

But Shivam does not seem to care. As the current IWA Japan World Champion, he carries himself like someone who fears nothing and answers to no one.

Now, VPW is about to feel exactly what RGT is capable of SEA Wrestling got the chance to speak with Shivam after what happened at VPW Spring Bash.

SW: This past Saturday, you made the effort to get on a plane, travel to Vietnam and aggressively interject yourself into Vietnam Pro Wrestling’s Spring Bash event. Can you explain your actions?

A : Vietnam wasn’t a “trip.” It was a message.

While everyone else was playing wrestler at Spring Bash, I walked in and reminded the entire country what a Real Global Threat looks like. You call it “interjecting.” I call it taking what should’ve been mine from the beginning.

SW: As one of the top wrestlers in the region who has wrestled all over the world, why do you think Vietnam Pro Wrestling has overlooked you for the past few years?

A : Let’s not pretend this is about “oversight.” When you’re on my level, you don’t get overlooked, you get avoided.

They built their little ecosystem, their local heroes, their safe little star because bringing in Shivam means everything changes overnight.

And that was exactly what happened at Spring Bash !

SW: Out of everyone on the roster, you chose to attack the much beloved The Classic Night (Billy and Bobby) after they had beaten Juicy Meat (Miles Karu & Da Butcherman), why out of the whole VPW roster did you choose those two and that moment to strike?

SH: The Classic Night had their big moment, right? The crowd cheering, hands in the air, feeling like they figure it all out.

That’s exactly when I take it away.

I didn’t just attack Billy and Bobby — I shattered the illusion that VPW created on how a top wrestlers looks like .

Most importantly I’m all about making a memorable moment and you tell me other things that are impactful besides SHIVAM showing up !?

SW : Was this attack about SETUP Thailand, Real Global Threat or your own agenda?

SH :SETUP wouldn’t have the balls to do something like this.

It was always about RGT. What you saw in Vietnam… that wasn’t just an attack. That was us expanding the THREAT to Southeast Asia and soon, beyond.

SW: We fully expect to see you and your new allies Juicy Meat at the next VPW event, will you be bringing any more backup?

SH : It’s not about who I bring, it’s about how many people are already with me that you don’t even know about yet. And trust me, there are more than you think. How can you be so sure that your friends, or even the people you trust most, aren’t already with us?

RGT isn’t a group. It’s a movement.

And movements don’t need “backup.”

WE take over.

SW: SEA Wrestling knows the VPW roster well, they are not likely to stand . Are you prepared for what might come your way on May 2nd if Vietnam Pro Wrestling retaliates at SETUP’s Absolute Mayhem ?

SH :I’m begging someone to do something about it.
Anyone who is stupid enough to step up isn’t just fighting Shivam—they’re stepping into a war with The Real Global Threat. And we just don’t lose.

Let me tell you one thing: RGT fears no one in Southeast Asia. Instead, we’re craving someone daring enough to step up to our level. There’s always someone who thinks they’re strong—but they always end up beneath our feet. I told you, RGT wants to change Southeast Asian wrestling. But we can’t deny that sometimes, we get bored… because no one has the guts.

SW: You’ll also be in the same arena as VPW Champion, ‘The Unstoppable Force’ Ares on April 4th in Kuala Lumpur, will you be able to keep things professional for the benefit of the advertised matches?

SH : Let me make something very clear: I don’t “keep things professional.” I keep things under control.

If Ares stays in his lane, maybe he walks out of Kuala Lumpur in one piece. But if he so much as breathes in my direction the wrong way, he’ll get his ass handed to him—just like The Classic Night did. And I’ll be the one who stops “The Unstoppable Force.”
