SEA Wrestling August & September 2026: Every Match Announced for MYPW, VPW, APAC, SETUP and SPW

Match Announcement Mania: Southeast Asian Shows Blast Out Match Announcements

It has been a busy week for announcements, with cards taking shape for shows in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines over the coming weeks.

Here is a full update on everything confirmed for August and September.

MYPW x Grapplemax: Causeway Jam 2026

Saturday 15 August, KuAsh Theatre TTDI, Kuala Lumpur

Causeway Jam returns for its 2026 edition, live from the KuAsh Theatre in Kuala Lumpur. The card is already taking shape with MYPW exclusive matches alongside a feast of MYPW versus Grapplemax bouts.

Six matches have been announced so far, with the possibility of one or two more to follow as top stars such as Wonderboy are yet to be booked.

Miles Karu returns to Southeast Asia for his first match following his Japan tour, facing Grapplemax's Jullian Creed. Creed is another fast rising star who will surely want to make a statement by knocking off Malaysia's hottest prospect and taking the MYPW Southeast Asian Championship.

The new Grapplemax Openweight Champion will not be making his first title defence, but he will face the agile and unique Jack Alexander in what should be an energetic classic.

Just announced, GST (Big Dave and Endboss GREGORY) defend their championships against LOVE X FRDM. Things have been quiet for a while from Malaysia's fastest rising tag team, so it is fantastic to see them returning to competition on the major shows after a few months away.

A huge rematch from the previous Causeway Jam in Singapore also goes down, as Poppy Shay looks to take the win back from Divya.

Elsewhere on the card, Kaizul enters a triple threat match against the recently debuting and extremely cocky Dean Zaid, plus the returning Shota, a man who has continued to influence Southeast Asian wrestlers in tremendous fashion.

Finally, we get a tag team contest as Cornelius LOW and his protégé Edward Tan take on Thommy Ardhi and Cikgu Ken. It remains to be seen whether Sarah Coldheart will accompany her new "friend".

FPW: Pagsubok QC

Sunday 16 August, Kowloon House, Quezon City

Another home base event for FPW, running one night after we could potentially see some of the roster in the Brawlpit. Announced so far:

  • Jan Evander's open challenge

  • Penny Haze, clearly losing her mind, returns to face Ralph Imbayashi

  • Mike Madrigal vs Mharckie

Vietnam Pro Wrestling: The Rumble Entrants Announced

Saturday 22 August, VAIB Studio, Ho Chi Minh City

VPW has been busy announcing huge names for the Rumble match. Confirmed entrants so far include VPW Champion Ares, Hy Draco, Da Butcherman, Khoa Truong, KPY, Miles Karu, Bobby and Hai Nguyen, with more to come.

Also expected to be announced shortly is the VPW Vietnam Championship match between Ares and Xiumin Long. That is likely to be the only championship bout on the show, with The British Horror absent and Viva Van unlikely to return so soon.

APAC Wrestling: Thunderstruck Update

Saturday 22 August, ESI Grand Hall, Puchong, Malaysia

A new alliance has emerged between APAC Wrestling and the Reality of Wrestling brand, with ROW using the Asia Pacific tag line.

APAC's Facebook page described the arrangement as an ongoing relationship built on creating genuine pathways for talent to grow, compete and reach the next level, calling it "more than an event" and framing it as a platform connecting the region's finest to the global professional wrestling industry.

Representing ROW Asia Pacific at Thunderstruck:

  • 🇲🇾 "Master of All" Shaukat

  • 🇲🇾 Nor "Phoenix" Diana

  • 🇦🇺 Lee Morrow

  • 🇦🇺 Fly Guy

Announced matches for the show include:

  • Main event: APAC Champion "Master of All" Shaukat vs Brian Kendrick

  • Putra Bulan vs Alfa Nazri

  • Konrad Kai vs Arash Kaelon

  • Nor "Phoenix" Diana vs Shay Cassidy

  • "The Retis" Double K vs Fly Guy vs Azriel vs Serigala

  • Azroy, Masaru Danial, The Eurasian Dragon and Razif "Fiyah" Razin vs Lee Morrow, "Mighty" Eddie Emil, Hendo Ramli and NYC

  • APAC Women's Champion Mio Shirai vs Maya Hartsteel

SETUP: Under the Same Moon Is a Southeast Asian Supercard

Saturday 29 August, Circus Studio, Bangkok

As well as the previously announced high stakes tag match between Team SEA All Stars, the Women's Championship will be on the line as Matcha is challenged by "The 1.47m Big Kaiju" Shoko Nakajima.

A large number of Southeast Asian wrestlers have also been announced:

  • From VPW: "The Undead Spirit" Khoa Truong, making his return to Thailand

  • From MYPW: "The Shaman" Jack Alexander and Fienic Rose

  • From SPW: Aiden Rex, Mason and Jack N' Cheese

  • From DEXCON: Isaiah Valencia

No matches have been announced for those names yet, but we are expecting some very unique mix ups celebrating the beauty of Southeast Asia's thriving scene in honour of SETUP founder Pumi Boonyatud.

Singapore Pro Wrestling Stacks Overdrive

Friday 18 September, Foo Chow Building, Singapore

SPW has absolutely stacked Overdrive since announcing it a few weeks ago.

Not only will "Blackheart" Lio Rush be wrestling, he will face "The Technical Marvel" Aiden Rex in what could very easily be match of the year.

The co-main event sees Real Global Threat, should they survive Under the Same Moon, face Singapore's top babyfaces as Da Butcherman teams with Jack N' Cheese to take on The Statement, Emman Azman and Shivam in a Singapore Street Fight. These six barely follow the rules in a normal match, let alone a street fight, so prepare for war.

International Women's Title action

Selina has her work cut out this September in her very first title defence. She faces the Queen of Philippine Wrestling, Crystal, who makes her long awaited return after almost three years, if you can believe it.

Most recently announced, The British Horror takes a break from terrorising VPW to battle Dr Gore. The question is what mood the Doctor will be in after losing the Singapore title in his first defence. Not only must he contend with one of the nastiest men in Southeast Asian wrestling, he will also be up against the region's most valuable valet in Princess Death, who almost always assures victory for The British Horror.

Puso Wrestling have teased an event for 6 September that may be titled Wild. Beyond their Facebook post we cannot confirm any further information at this stage, to keep accurate discord.
