ROR Experience 5

ROR Experience 5 streamed once again through Instagram, and despite the limitations, it continues to feel like something different. The show doesn’t try to copy traditional wrestling presentation — instead, it leans into its surroundings and lets things unfold more naturally. That roughness gives it character. It’s not polished, but it’s definitely its own thing.

Varun Khanna vs Lukas Ora

The night opened with Varun Khanna facing Lukas Ora. Khanna made his entrance with a casual confidence, speaking to the crowd in a way that felt more like a workshop or stand-up set than a wrestling promo. Ora, a Filipino wrestler with a strong look, responded with a quick jab about Khanna being too tall and better suited for basketball.

The match itself was short and to the point. Ora relied on speed and aerial moves to stay ahead of Khanna, but in the end, Khanna managed to catch him in a modified full nelson and got the submission.

Eurasian Dragon vs Ahmed Arief vs Referee Noor

The three-way match between Eurasian Dragon, Ahmed Arief, and Referee Noor was an entertaining mix of competitive wrestling and comedy moments. Noor had to be reminded he was actually in the match and protested at first, with the crowd jokingly calling for a disqualification.

There was a brief alliance between Dragon and Noor, but it quickly broke down. At one point, Arief managed to slam both opponents into the corner.

The action stayed fairly even throughout, with moments of double-teaming and betrayal switching between all three. After taking out the official, Arief and Noor tried to double-team Dragon, but things fell apart between them. Arief ultimately picked up the win with an elbow drop from the second rope onto Noor.

Erfie vs JT

Erfie’s match against JT was high energy from the start. He came out aggressive, clearly wanting to bounce back after his Gen Z loss. Both men moved fast, trading flying clotheslines and stiff strikes. There was a moment where JT hit the turnbuckle hard, followed by an accidental referee bump.

Erfie kept his focus and hit a jumping DDT to secure the win. It felt like a solid statement performance.

Jack & Cheese vs Raj & Geylang Green

Jack and Cheese, also known as CBK, took on Raj and Geylang Green in what felt like the biggest match of the night. Raj opened by sitting in the ring and cutting a promo full of foul language, then attacked before the bell with a kendo stick.

The match quickly turned in CBK’s favor, especially once BGJ used his power to control the pace. A strange moment occurred when a creepy doll appeared on camera, but the action never really slowed down. Cheese hit a rolling senton off BGJ’s back, while Jack re-entered with weapons and locked in a liontamer-style hold.

Geylang worked over Cheese for a while, targeting the kidneys. A miscommunication between Raj and Green gave CBK the opening they needed. BGJ came in and cleaned house with running splashes in the corner, followed by their double-team finisher, a big splash. The match ended with CBK hitting a Dudley Dawg-style move on Green for the win.

NYC vs Sayn RF

In the night’s final match, NYC faced Sayn RF in a tournament bout. Sayn entered with his usual attitude, having gifted Dragon his spot in the bracket, and immediately took shots at the crowd.

The match was back-and-forth, with neither man staying on top for long. Sayn tried to bring in a hammer, but the referee stopped him. He hit a GTS for a close nearfall, but NYC managed to recover and land a 450 splash to move forward in the tournament.

Final Thoughts

The show kept the same unpredictable, offbeat tone ROR has become known for. The matches were short but packed, the atmosphere was loose and the strange pacing worked. There’s no one else doing it quite like this.
