Brief Results from Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Festival 2 – July 27, 2025

Grapplemax presented Pro Wrestling Festival 2 from the Jurong Spring Community Club in Singapore on July 27. Fans were treated to an exciting evening of professional wrestling, and thanks to the open community setting of the venue, dozens of curious onlookers stopped to catch a glimpse — many getting their first taste of Grapplemax, or pro wrestling altogether.

Below are brief results and live notes in a more personal, blog-style format. A full match-by-match show report will be published in Issue 5 of SEA Wrestling Magazine.

Show Results & Live Notes

Divya & Sarah Coldheart def. Amani & Radiant Rui (Pinfall)
The finish came when Amani attempted a top-rope move, but an awkward landing caused a minor ankle sprain. Divya capitalized with a snappy German suplex to score the win.

Live notes:

  • All four women had tremendous presence and clearly defined characters.

  • Divya is incredibly strong.

  • Amani is surprisingly aggressive – “firecracker” is the word that comes to mind. She reminds me of a young 1-2-3 Kid.

LFG (Crypto Bro & Kal) def. Heaven & Earth (Simon Siah & Larhvin Deshadow) (Pinfall)
Kal hit an inverted DDT on Siah after Crypto Bro knocked him into the ropes and speared Larhvin.

Live notes:

  • Simon Siah is super over as a babyface, and unsurprisingly, Crypto Bro draws major heat.

  • The match kicked off with an absolute buffet of high spots to the outside.

Julian Creed def. Xtian, Kelvin Lang & Devan to win the Grapplemax Rising Championship (Pinfall)
Xtian hit an X-Factor-like maneuver on Devan, but was taken out by a stiff elbow. Creed then nailed a dropkick on Devan for the surprise three-count.

Live notes:

Nobody saw that finish coming. Everyone — myself included — expected Kelvin to take it, so Julian’s win shocked the crowd.

The match told a gripping, segmented story: the babyfaces squared off early while the heels hung back, which gave way to full chaos and a brilliant final stretch built on reversals and near-falls.

SPD def. Big Dave & Saya (Pinfall)
SPD hit a stunner on Saya just after Saya dropped Big Dave with a Samoan Drop.

Live notes:

Big Dave got major heel heat before the bell — classic insults, big reactions. After the loss, he even untied one of my shoes. Honestly? One of the best heels in the business as far as I’m concerned.

SPD is super over

Saya, who wrestles with one arm, is an incredible competitor. His ability and ring presence are absolutely unaffected.

Aussie Aussie Aussie def. Joker & Karas (Pinfall)
The Aussies secured the win after a double powerbomb on Karas.

Live notes:

The Taiwanese duo of Joker & Karas did everything they could to isolate Shawn while keeping

YC out of the ring.

Shawn took a ton of punishment.

Karas and Joker look terrifying but showed respect post-match. Great showing from both teams.

Hotshot def. Ban Sachak (Submission)
Hotshot hit his cutter but didn’t go for the pin — instead locking in a vicious Dragon Sleeper to seal the win.

Live notes:

Hotshot’s new look includes glasses to signify his heel turn.

This match got real aggressive.

Much like Julian Creed’s win earlier, Hotshot’s victory caught the crowd off guard. I think most expected a feel-good title change but what came next added a lot of drama.

Aftermath

Post-match, Hotshot offered Ban Sachak a handshake… only to cheap shot him moments later. This brought out Endboss Gregory, who charged the ring — and promptly ate a cutter to a thunderous reaction.

After the dust settled, everyone except the champion celebrated a successful night, with Julian Creed delivering some inspiring words to close the show.

Quick Personal Thoughts

Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Festival 2 was my first Southeast Asian wrestling excursion— and it was a fantastic one. The entire Grapplemax crew works tirelessly to deliver a high-quality wrestling product, and that dedication shines through in every match and fan interaction.

Equally impressive were the many behind-the-scenes contributors: trainees, crew, organizers — all helping make the magic happen.

Can’t wait for the next chance to see Grapplemax live.
