Filipino Pro Wrestling (FPW) once again packed Baked Studios for another action-packed Astig taping on Sunday. FPW’s momentum continues to build as the promotion sharpens its identity and strengthens its loyal following with shows like this—perhaps one of its most exciting outings to date.

Results & Key Moments:

The night kicked off with an entertaining opener as AB3 defeated Versus in singles action. Despite the loss, Versus impressed with his raw power, notably delivering a huge spear that nearly turned the tide.

Metro Manila Championship Qualifiers:

  • Jason Rex defeated Robynn—thanks, unsurprisingly, to interference from his ally, Legendarius.

  • Duke Ortega outwrestled Proximo to secure his place in the next round. Despite Proximo’s fast-paced offense, Ortega’s veteran instincts proved too much.

  • Mharckie picked up a win over Thiago Santiago, capitalizing after Santiago was distracted by a surprise video message from none other than his old rival, local celebrity Rocco Nacino.

  • In a grudge match 8 years in the making, Ralph Imbayashi finally overcame Rex Lawin. The animosity boiled over post-match as security was forced to separate Imbayashi from his opponent.

International Challenges:

FPW’s international ties were on display with back-to-back bouts featuring Grapplemax’s main event talent from Singapore.

  • SPD bested Cali Nueva in the first international clash.

  • The always-controversial YOLO Twins lived up to their reputation, defeating Big Dave & Jullian Creed through underhanded tactics—ironically out-cheating the usually rule-bending Creed and Dave.

FPW Championship Drama:

Following the tag match, Chino Guinto returned to confront Los Vandals Manila during a segment where Red officially awarded the FPW Championship to Quatro. This brought out Mike Madrigal, who protested and goaded Quatro into an impromptu title match. Quatro retained—barely—thanks to a disqualification finish after Madrigal resorted to blatant rule-breaking.

What’s Next for FPW?

Fans are eager to see more long-form footage from recent Astig shows as FPW’s storytelling and roster depth continue to evolve. The promotion is expected to announce another major event later this year—SEA Wrestling will share updates as soon as they’re available.
