Puso Wrestling returned to the Brawlpit Bulusan on Sunday night, September 14th, with Bakunawa, an action-packed show that delivered eight matches in front of a fired-up, sold-out crowd. The night blended local favorites, championship clashes, and storyline twists that left fans buzzing about what comes next for the promotion.
The card kicked off with Ken Cifer picking up a decisive win over Sage Matthews, setting the tone for the evening.
In tag team action, Bahay Ng Liwanag continued their momentum by defeating HIT & Elmo, cementing themselves as one of Puso’s most cohesive duos.
One of the most anticipated bouts saw Crystal outlast Ravena, Nigel San Jose, and Robin Sane in a four-way contest. The Moon Eater match delivered high drama, with Crystal ultimately scoring the victory.
The Super Friends secured a win over Otaku Alien by disqualification, but the real story was Hakai Mateo’s shocking betrayal. Mateo attacked his own partner Alien Friend, smashing him with his prized Waifu picture, leaving the team fractured and fans stunned.
Danny Zamora earned a win over Jomar, though his night was far from over.
Jake De Leon defeated Joey Rosas in a Setup Thailand 24/7 Championship bout, further showcasing his championship pedigree.
The International Ribbon Tag Team Championships were on the line as the reigning champions Bad Butts successfully defended against Joya & Chelsea Marie in a hard-hitting contest.
In the main event, Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Champion Main Maxx defeated Fabio Makisig after landing a thunderous frogsplash from the top rope. The victory looked set to close the night on a high note, but the celebration was short-lived. Danny Zamora returned, brutally assaulting Maxx and leaving the champion battered. This shocking attack sets the stage for a potential title clash at October’s DEXCON show, with Zamora firmly planting himself in the championship picture.
