Puso Pro Wrestling: Puso Livestream IX Results & Recap
Puso Wrestling returned on 17th August 2025 with Puso Livestream IX, the latest in their what seems to be now, biweekly streaming series. The show featured MSG, Barangay Baksakan, HSSL, Super Friends, and We’re Not Friends in a night of hard-hitting action, comedy, and plenty of chaos.
Match One: Migs Valdez & Chelsea Marie (MSG) vs. Solomon Liwanag & Ken Cifer
The opening contest saw Migs Valdez return to action alongside Chelsea Marie, taking on Solomon Liwanag and Ken Cifer.
Valdez’s size gave Cifer trouble early, while Marie impressed with a Stephanie Vaquer–style thigh slam and a big Yakuza kick. MSG combined well, including a delayed vertical suplex from Valdez powered by a Marie kick.
Liwanag and Cifer found their rhythm, with Solomon landing a body slam and Cifer firing off arm drags and dropkicks. But a miscommunication between the two proved costly — Valdez connected with a dropkick, and Marie hit the scissors kick for the MSG victory.
Winners: Migs Valdez & Chelsea Marie
An acceptable return for Migs to the Pinoy wrestling scene considering the ring rust as he hasn’t been seen since Januar. He has some great chemistry with Marie. The fact he is a lot taller than a lot of the roster is going to make him an asset too. That’s if he is making a fulltime comeback as some pop in for a one off as we know.
Match Two: Barangay Bagsakan (Nigel San Jose, Isaiah Valencia & HIT) vs. HSSL (Fabio Makisig, Joey Rossas & Joya)
Faction tensions boiled over as Barangay Baksakan battled HSSL. Despite being on good terms outside the ring, things got heated once the bell rang.
HIT and Joey Rossas traded blows early, before Fabio Makisig and Joya added their own high-energy offense. Valencia used his power with a big slam on Joya, while Nigel San Jose countered Rossas with a brutal knee strike.
The bout descended into chaos — quick tags, flash moves, and constant interference. In the end, Joey Rossas caught HIT with a Fameasser to give HSSL the win.
After the match, Nigel and HIT turned on Isaiah Valencia, leading to Rossas trying to make peace — but instead sparking a Rossas vs. Valencia brawl.
Winners: HSSL (Fabio Makisig, Joey Rossas & Joya)
Chaotic, aggressive and wild are the choice words about this match. As well as some quality ring action showing off the technical prowess of all participants the match extended some key storylines - Valencia’s aggression, Barangay Bakasakan getting fed up with Hit and tension around the Valencia, Jake De Leon and Rossas title scene.
One funny moment was watching Joya and Fabio simply forget who their partners were and just enjoy hitting people in the corner.
Main Event: Super Friends (El Katipunero, Patricia Ligaia & Bon) vs. We’re Not Friends (Robin Sane, Hakai Mateo & Danny Zamora)
The headline bout was pure Puso Pro storytelling. Robin Sane made it clear he wasn’t thrilled teaming with Hakai Mateo and Danny Zamora, while the Super Friends introduced their surprise partner — commentator Bon.This seemed to be an absolute shock to Bon himself who protested. As much as we love you on commentary Bon this did allow for us to enjoy a special Super P announcing session.
The action swung between comedy and serious heat. El Katipunero and Sane started technical, while Ligaia went after Sane with intensity before being cut off. Mateo and Zamora worked over Bon, with heavy chops and slams, but Bon eventually fired back with surprising footwork and a comeback clothesline. Through the match we continued to see Robin Sane protest his partner’s aggression. If you remember form Livestream VII he was having issues with Zamora and Gabriel Arkangel’s aggression and being left on the side.
Ligaia had her shot at revenge on Sane, but he countered with a sling blade showing now gratitude for Sane’s concern. In the end, Robin Sane locked in the Crimson Vice on Bon, forcing the tap and sealing the win for We’re Not Friends.
Winners: We’re Not Friends (Robin Sane, Hakai Mateo & Danny Zamora)
Final Thoughts on Puso Livestream IX
Migs Valdez and Chelsea Marie showed promising chemistry in their MSG return.
HSSL vs. Barangay Bagsakan was the night’s most intense bout, with shifting alliances and an explosive post-match brawl.
Super Friends vs. We’re Not Friends brought comedy, chaos, and storytelling, with Bon’s reluctant debut adding a unique twist before Robin Sane closed the show standing tall.
Super P continues to show she can excel in any role inside and outside the ring. She’s like CM Punk but with less of a chip on her shoulder and better guitar skills.
Puso Wrestling continues to deliver with their biweekly livestreams, mixing character work, faction drama, and unpredictable finishes — making Philippine wrestling must-watch for fans across Southeast Asia. We’ll pick things up with our preview of DEXCON’s weekend later in the week.
