PUSO Wrestling: Alamat — Full Event Preview

As the Filipino wrestling calendar enters its final chapter of 2025, PUSO Wrestling: Alamat arrives as the definitive year-ender. On Sunday, November 30, the Brawl Pit in Bulusan, Quezon City hosts a stacked eight-match card featuring raging rivalries, championship stakes, bitter betrayals, and one very mysterious prize. For a promotion that has made “heart” its mission and ethos, Alamat feels like a culmination — a night where legacies, friendships, and futures collide.

From international showcases and high-stakes grudge matches to a winner-takes-all main event that may redefine the Philippine wrestling landscape, Alamat aims to close the year with clarity, closure, and consequences.

THE RELIC RUMBLE

12 competitors. One mystery treasure. Only one survivor.

The Relic Rumble embraces that tradition. Twelve competitors enter with one goal: throw every other wrestler over the top rope and stand alone as the last survivor. But this year brings a twist that’s sparked intense fan speculation — a mysterious “ultimate treasure” awaits the winner. No one knows what the prize is, and PUSO management has remained silent, fueling rumors that it could be a contract, a talismanic item tied to future storylines, or something entirely unprecedented.

The field is a blend of fan favorites and rising talents: ROMÉO the long standing veteran and commentator; Ken Cifer, whose intensity is matched only by his unpredictability; Gabriel Arkanghel, one of the promotion’s most imposing athletes; HIT, whose strike-heavy offense makes him a dangerous entrant; Trainee Elmo, improving each outing but still somewhat cocky; and the newest Pinay wrestler Starling. They’re joined by Aaron and Solomon Liwanag, a duo known for their devious antics.

But one name has generated the most curiosity — the return of Serafin Liwanag, the third member of the Liwanag lineage. His comeback immediately shifts the odds and fuels speculation of a Liwanag-family alliance… or implosion. Add in the teased surprise entrants and the Rumble becomes less of a match and more of a chaotic crossroad for narratives heading into 2026.

At the end of the night, only glory and the unknown prize await the survivor. In a promotion obsessed with symbolism and heart, the meaning of that relic may echo far beyond Alamat.

ALIEN FRIEND vs. HAKAI MATEO

A bromance shattered by obsession, paranoia, and rage.

One of the most emotional stories of the year arrives at its breaking point. What began as a lovable oddball pairing — two underdogs grinding through undercard livestream matches — turned into one of the deepest and most genuinely felt friendships in modern Pinoy wrestling.

But something inside Otaku Mateo broke. His obsession with his anime waifu spiraled into paranoia, jealousy, and resentment. When Bakunawa arrived, that resentment boiled over, and Mateo violently turned on Alien Friend, leaving his former partner battered and blindsided. The betrayal landed like a punch to the fandom; these two were inseparable, bonded by training, humor, and shared struggle.

Now a very different Mateo steps into the ring — Hakai Mateo, a darker, more unstable incarnation whose rage seems to have swallowed whatever innocence the Otaku once had. Alien Friend, luckily, hasn’t been left alone. The Super Friends will be in his corner, offering both moral and physical support in what has become an emotional reckoning.

“It’s always a woman,” people joke, it's just not a real one in this incarnation of the trope — but this heartbreak is all too real. In its purest form, this match is about trust broken, support rebuilt, and healing through confrontation. For two men who shared so much of their journey, only a fight can settle the fracture.

LOSER LEAVES PUSO WRESTLING

Fabio Makisig vs. Danny Zamora

Few feuds in the Philippine scene carry as much personal weight as this one. Fabio Makisig, once inches away from championship glory at Bakunawa, watched his dreams slip through his fingers — thanks entirely to the interference of Danny Zamora, a man he once considered a brother in arms.

Their history is long, complicated, and full of shifting alliances. They built HSSL together. They survived trial after trial together. They grew in the same trenches, only to watch their bond corrode into bitterness. Friendships in wrestling are often strained, but in this case, the betrayal was deep enough to cross into something more permanent.

Now, the consequences are absolute: the loser leaves PUSO Wrestling.

This isn’t simply about vengeance or bragging rights. It’s about legacy. It’s about two men who carved their identities alongside each other now fighting to decide who stays and who fades. Zamora has positioned himself as the catalyst of change; Fabio as the wronged warrior seeking justice.

One man walks out still part of PUSO Wrestling’s future.
The other walks out into uncertainty.

ROBIN SANE vs. RAVENA (w/ Mr. Sy)

A test of worth, reputation, and redemption.

It’s been a turbulent year for both men. Robin Sane, one of the most respected veterans in Philippine wrestling and long known as “The Fastest Pinoy Wrestler,” has endured a series of high-profile losses. While still capable of brilliance, his year has challenged his status and forced him to rebuild momentum match by match.

On the opposite end, Ravena suffered humiliation when he was fired from Dexcon — a blow to his pride and his career trajectory. Now under the sharp, calculating mentorship of Mr. Sy, Ravena is under intense pressure to prove he belongs. Mr. Sy has called attention to Ravena’s inconsistent ring performance, pushing him toward a do-or-die mindset.

Sane has been wrestling some of his best matches lately, and Ravena knows this is both an opportunity and a landmine. The Influential Influencer’s reputation hangs in the balance; Sane’s quest for renewed respect intersects with Ravena’s need to validate his spot beside Mr. Sy.

It’s a match fueled not by hatred, but by ambition — and ambition is often far more dangerous.

JOMAR vs. HO HO LUN

Philippines vs. Hong Kong — an international clash years in the making.

Ho Ho Lun, one of Asia’s most respected veterans and a former MWF Champion, returns to the Philippines for the first time in nearly six years. His travels across Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia have solidified him as a global journeyman and a pioneer for Asian wrestling visibility.

His opponent? The surging and increasingly dangerous Jomar.” Once known for explosive bursts of violence, Jomar has transformed into a more calculated yet vicious competitor. His performance at Bakunawa caught the attention of General Manager Sonny Go, who wasted no time making this international showdown official.

Jomar sees this match as a proving ground; Ho Ho Lun sees it as unfinished business in a country where he once dominated. For Filipino fans, it’s a generational test: can a rising local star topple a veteran who helped shape the region’s wrestling identity?

JOEY ROSAS & CRYSTAL vs. BARANGAY BAKSAKAN (Isaiah Valencia & Nigel San Jose)

A tag-team war born of friendship soured and pride wounded.

The smiles are gone, the colorful entrances shelved. Barangay Baksakan has spent months brutalizing Joey Rosas and Crystal, embracing a harsher, more merciless approach. Valencia’s once-pure friendship with Rosas collapsed under ego and bitterness, while Nigel San Jose’s frustrations mounted after critical losses to Crystal in moments where he needed the win most.

Their tempers have transformed into aggression. Their aggression hardened into a mission: hurt Rosas and Crystal. And they have delivered on that mission with alarming dedication.

For Crystal — widely regarded as the Queen of Pinoy Wrestling — this feud taps into years of standing as a standard-bearer. And for Rosas, this is personal. His falling-out with Valencia has been emotional, loud, and increasingly violent.

This is a grudge match disguised as a tag bout, fueled by betrayal, pride, and the search for vindication.

JOYÁ vs. CHELSEA MARIE — NO HOLDS BARRED

A rivalry spanning more than two years reaches its breaking point.

Some wrestlers simply do not vibe. Joyá and Chelsea Marie are the embodiment of that reality. Their dislike for each other stretches back to their days in MWF, where personality clashes quickly turned competitive. But 2025 ignited their rivalry into something volcanic.

Chelsea, the self-proclaimed vixen, has built her identity around glamour, allure, and a high-life persona. Joyá is her polar opposite — gritty, unfiltered, constantly pushing her physical limits. That contrast has made every encounter combustible.

They’ve clashed in the Underground, where Joyá took the victory. They brawled through Karera, where their tag match dissolved into chaos spilling onto the streets. A brief moment of cooperation against Bad Butts only deepened the tension when they lost. Even when management kept them apart, run-ins and taunts nearly reignited fights during Livestream XII.

Now PUSO Wrestling has taken the leash off: No Holds Barred.
No excuses. No escape. No neutrality.

After two years of resentment, one competitor walks out with definitive bragging rights.

MAIN EVENT — WINNER TAKE ALL

Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship vs. SETUP Thailand 24/7 Championship

Main Maxx vs. Jake De Leon

If every match on the card carries emotional weight, the main event carries historical weight.

Two of the most influential figures of modern Pinoy wrestling collide, not just for pride, not just for redemption, but for all the gold. Main Maxx, the reigning Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Champion, has spent the year defending the belt against every challenger — an effort rooted in his desire to cement himself as one of the true pillars of the scene. He has beaten two of the other three male pillars, Robin Sane and Fabio Makisig, earning their respect.

But one pillar continues to withhold validation: Jake De Leon.

For Maxx, this match is deeply personal. JDL was once a mentor and friend. They debuted on the same PWR event years ago. They have faced off nearly twenty times, with JDL holding a 2:1 edge. They were allies in the OPM stable in 2023 — until Jake betrayed him to become a two-time MWF Champion.

Maxx’s journey culminated in becoming the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Champion in 2024. Yet he has never felt fully validated because Jake refused to challenge him — until now.

JDL enters Alamat transformed. Now the “Real Global Threat,” he is jaded, frustrated, and hungry to end his Philippine chapter on his own terms. After traveling across Asia, capturing the Dexcon World Championship, and elevating his brand, he claims there is only one box left to tick: taking Maxx’s title and proving he is the definitive pillar.

In a rare concession, JDL has put his own belt — the SETUP Thailand 24/7 Championship — on the line. That escalation raises the stakes to legendary proportions.

One winner. One legend confirmed. One man walks out holding everything.
The future of both men — and of PUSO Wrestling itself — may pivot on this match.

PUSO Wrestling: Alamat isn’t just a finale — it’s a reckoning. Every unresolved story, every fracture, every pursuit of validation arrives at the same destination: the Brawl Pit. From the chaotic promise of the Relic Rumble to the emotional devastation of the Loser Leaves match, from international showcases to personal score-settling, the card is a snapshot of PUSO Wrestling’s heart, ambition, and evolution.

But above all, Alamat is about legacy. And on November 30, with championships, futures, and reputations on the line, several wrestlers will leave the Brawl Pit transformed.

The only question left:
Who becomes an alamat — a legend — when the night ends?
