Pumi or Shivam Must Leave SETUP After Stipulation Confirmed

PUMI OR SHIVAM MUST LEAVE AS SETUP CONFIRMS LOSER LEAVES TOWN STIPULATION
SETUP Thailand has confirmed the stipulation for its 15th anniversary main event, and it carries the heaviest stakes the promotion has ever put on a match.
Last week, SETUP announced a four-man team assembled to face Real Global Threat at Under The Same Moon. That side is made up of "X-Rated" Jonathan Johnson, RGT's longest standing rival, Ares, the reigning VPW Openweight Champion from Vietnam, Da Butcherman, one of Singapore's most physical wrestlers, and Carlo Cannon, current champion in Malaysia, Singapore and Ukraine. At the time, the match format was still under discussion.
That has now been settled. Following talks between SETUP management and RGT's legal representative, both sides agreed the rivalry needs a real ending after more than two years. On 29 August the match will be contested under Loser Leaves Town Elimination rules. When it is over, either Pumi or Shivam must leave SETUP immediately. The winning side then gets to run the promotion its way, without interference from the other.
The choice of names attached to the stipulation is what makes this different. Pumi founded SETUP and the show itself is billed as his 15th anniversary event. Shivam is the man who built RGT from an idea into a faction holding titles across the region. Neither is a wrestler who can quietly disappear for a few months and return. Whoever loses, SETUP will look like a different promotion the following morning.
It is a bold call, and one that carries risk. Loser Leaves Town matches only work if the promotion is willing to follow through, and SETUP has been careful in how it has built this story since Shivam's attack on Monomoth back in January of last year. Fans have watched RGT win almost every meaningful encounter along the way. This is the first time the faction has been given something it cannot simply walk away from.
Under The Same Moon takes place on 29 August 2026 at The Circus Studio in Bangkok.
