Jake De Leon to wrestle for SETUP in Japan

Confirmed last week by JDL he has received his visa and will now be joining his RGT counterparts in Japan during SETUP’s New Beginning show this November. This could mark the first time that all members of RGT appear together as it looks like The Statement and Shivam are already confirmed, Chris Brookes is a Japan resident, leaving only Emman Azman to complete the group.

Who’s Next for Main Maxx?

At FPW Bakunawa, Danny Zamora attacked the champion, while JDL posted a photo holding the title belt. Both men are legitimate contenders. Could Sari Sari Slam feature a title defense against one of them, or even a multi-man championship bout? The situation remains tense, with answers expected soon.

Carlo Cannon heading to the Brawlpit

A major rumor was confirmed last night: Carlo Cannon, one of the Godfather’s of Southeast Asian Wrestling, may be heading to the Brawlpit. Cannon teased fans on social media with a photo nearly identical to the silhouette used in hype posts. If confirmed, this would mark his first Puso Wrestling appearance — with plenty of potential challengers waiting.

Of Filipino descent, Cannon has been providing classes and mentorship for many of the region's wrestlers on a regular basis and SEA Wrestling is sure he will be welcomed into the Brawlpit with open arms.

PUSO Wrestling - Headlocks & Headbangs 2

PUSO Wrestling is set to return with A Night of Headlocks & Headbangs: Round 2 on September 19, 2025, at 7 PM at Sari Sari Makati, in partnership with New Pinoy Music Collective and The SlickMaster’s Files.

The card features a Two Botts Match between Robin Sane and Jomar, a singles contest with Nigel San Jose taking on Hakai Mateo, and a tag team showdown as El Katipunero & Patricia Ligaia face R O M É O & Joya.

The night also promises a fusion of wrestling and live music, highlighted by a special performance from Super P and the Space Bandits, along with sets from Letter Day Story and other local acts.
