MYPW Causeway Jam '26 Results: Bobby Sinagha Wins the Cup as Team MYPW Take Malaysia Home
Malaysia Pro Wrestling returned to KuAsh Theatre in TTDI, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday 15 August for Causeway Jam '26, staged in collaboration with Grapplemax Pro Wrestling of Singapore.
Causeway Jam is MYPW's annual cross-border showcase, built on the simplest premise in Southeast Asian wrestling. Malaysia against Singapore, national pride on the line, and the Causeway Cup waiting for whoever is left standing. It has run in various forms across recent years, including previous Kuala Lumpur stagings, and it remains the one night where the two sides of the strait settle things in the ring. For the first time ever, the show was held in MYPW’s premier venue of the KuAsh Theatre.
Here is how the card played out.
Shota defeated Dean Zaid and KAIZUL
Edward Tan and Cornelius Low defeated Cikgu Ken and Thommy Ardhi
Poppy defeated Divya
Miles defeated Jullian to retain the MYPW Southeast Asian Championship
GST retained the Grapplemax Tag Team Championship over LOVExFRDM
Jinn Kai defeated Jack Alexander
Team MYPW defeated Team Singapore to win the Causeway Jam Cup 2026
The main event delivered the drama, and most of it came from the Malaysian side.
Kelvin Lang was eliminated by Emman Azman. Wonderboy was then eliminated by SPD, with Emman Azman looking on and making no attempt to hide his disgust at his compatriot's exit. Moments later Emman produced the shock of the night by eliminating himself via count out, walking away from the match and from his own team.
That left Bobby Sinagha to clean up. He eliminated Ban Sachak, then took out SPD to end it, sealing the win for Team MYPW and lifting the Causeway Jam Cup 2026.
What comes next
The following is speculation and is not confirmed by MYPW or Grapplemax.
The most obvious thread to pull is Emman Azman and Wonderboy. Emman's reaction to Wonderboy's elimination, followed by his own deliberate count out, reads as a man who no longer wants to share a locker room, let alone a team. It’s quite clear the feud between the two is far from over and with future MYPW shows speculated to be announced soon, we may see a rematch from New Breed 4.
Miles Karu goes into the VPW Rumble with momentum behind him after his win over Jullian. He is quickly moving to MYPW main eventer and legitimate cross region star with his his Japan tour behind him and upcoming shows in Vietnam, Singapore and Taiwan before the end of next month.
Then there is Bobby Sinagha. Winning the Causeway Jam Cup by eliminating both Ban Sachak and SPD in the closing stretch is about as clean a star-making finish as MYPW could have booked. Whatever comes next for him, it is difficult to see a ceiling on the back of that performance.
