Malaysian pro wrestling is heating up this May, with back-to-back action from two of the region’s top promotions: Malaysia Pro Wrestling and APAC Wrestling. With both companies delivering stacked cards and sold-out venues, fans can expect a thrilling weekend of in-ring excellence, international appearances, and long-awaited matchups.
New Breed 3: almost SOLD OUT and Set to Explode on May 10th
MYPW’s flagship event, New Breed 3, was officially sold out ahead of its May 10th date however a few extra seats have become available — a testament to the brand’s growing fanbase and the buzz surrounding the announced card. The event promises a night of high-octane competition, featuring a mix of local stars, regional favorites, and returning veterans.
The confirmed match card is nothing short of explosive:
Kaizul will go head-to-head with the fiery Blazing Raj.
Rising star Orion Black squares off with Tommy Ardhi, promising a fast-paced, technical showcase.
Australian veteran Carlo Cannon returns to Malaysia to take on Wrestlefest DXB's dynamic striker Shaheen for the MYPW World Championship.
In what may be the night’s show-stealer, Shivam, The Statement, and Emman Azman collide in a triple threat match for the MYPW Southeast Asian Championship.
The women’s division also gets a spotlight, as Lana Xo battles Poppy.
Tag team chaos is on the horizon as Juicy Boyz face off against Love & FRDM in a bout sure to test team chemistry.
And finally, the MYPW Invitational Rumble will bring together a wide mix of talent, surprises, and returning names in a wild over-the-top-rope spectacle.

Malaysia’s trailblazing women’s champion Nor “Phoenix” Diana takes on Crystal in what promises to be a hard-hitting showcase of women’s wrestling.
High-flyer Serigala faces fan-favorite The Retis, while “Double K” and Alfa Nazri
Mighty Eddie Amil looks to shut down the dangerous Dreamkiller Azroy in a power-vs-power collision for the championship.
And in a huge singles contest, veteran and coach Shaukat locks horns with former WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor Damien Slater, in a match that has international buzz written all over it.

Nor “Phoenix” Diana to tour in Japan and Thailand
In addition to her Malaysian appearances, Nor “Phoenix” Diana is taking her talents overseas. This weekend, she will be featured in Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) in Japan, where she’ll team with fellow Southeast Asian standouts Alexis Lee and Matcha. Diana is also booked to challenge for the SETUP Women’s Championship in Thailand — a match that could crown her a dual-country champion if she pulls off the victory.
With packed schedules, historic matches, and top-tier international exposure, May is shaping up to be a landmark month for Malaysian wrestling.
