Huge Grapplemax News and Slam & Savour Results

September 1st 2025

Grapplemax returned with another festival-style event on Saturday, August 30, as Unity & Slam & Savour took over Timbre at One-North. The all-day experience featured community-building activities, wrestling workshops, and another of the promotion’s signature mat-based wrestling showcases, drawing a strong crowd eager to take in the action.

The card saw a few last-minute adjustments, including Radiant Rui’s scheduled opponent Divya being replaced by MYPW’s rising star Fienic Rose, creating an unexpected but welcome cross-border matchup.

In the ring, the fans were treated to a full slate of matches:

  • Nathaniel defeated Tydus by pinfall after a powerful spinebuster.

  • Justin overcame Nish with a decisive running knee.

  • Fienic Rose pinned Radiant Rui with a standing moonsault in a close, back-and-forth contest that had the crowd buzzing.

  • Jullian Creed retained the Rising Championship by putting away Devan with his signature Fade to Black.

  • In a wild no-rules brawl, The Yolo Twins & Cali Nueva scored the win over Heaven & Earth & Kelvin Lange after delivering a devastating Two Night Stand on Larhvin.

  • Japanese legend Dick Togo forced Ban Sachak to tap out to a crossface submission in a technical battle.

  • The main event saw Aussie Aussie Aussie retain the Tag Team Championships over LFG when YV connected with the Down Bad Down Under on Crypto Bro LK.

The show also featured an intense moment when Endboss Gregory confronted Hotshot and nailed him with a stunning dropkick, teasing a potential showdown in the near future. However, Gregory’s next bout is already confirmed for the upcoming NWE Showcase 4.

NWE Showcase 4 Announced

The next Grapplemax event is set for less than two weeks from now as NWE Showcase 4 takes place at Grapplemax Studios. The card already features several exciting matches:

  • Endboss Gregory vs Kelvin Lang in the Endboss’ return to the ring after a year.

  • Ban Sachak & Nish vs "Scum Dawg" Sage Matthews & Tydus marking a very unusual but exciting international appearance on an NWE Showcase.

  • Justin vs Simon Siah

  • Devan & Nathaniel vs BIG DAVE & "The Pillar" Shawn Phang

Tickets are now available on Peatix.

Grapplemax’s 9th Anniversary Show: UNITY

Looking further ahead, Grapplemax will celebrate its 9th Anniversary with a special show on November 22. Titled UNITY, the milestone event will emanate from Singapore’s historic Foo Chow Building, widely regarded as the heart of professional wrestling in the region and one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic venues.

In a statement on Grapplemax’s Facebook page, the promotion shared:

“UNITY is our boldest chapter yet, and the culmination of everything we’ve built together. Stay tuned for more details on the championship clashes, and international guest stars we’re bringing down to celebrate NINE YEARS OF GRAPPLEMAX. We invite you to experience the community vibes that Grapplemax is famous for. Unite with us on 22 November.”

The show is likely to be filled with Grapplemax's hardworking roster and a wealth of international guests making it a not to be missed spectacular.

Further details are still under wraps, but if the announcement is any indication, this is shaping up to be one of the biggest Grapplemax shows to date.
