Grapplemax Wrestle Pagar – October 25th Preview
We’ve got a packed weekend of wrestling events around the region, and Grapplemax return for their next major community showcase Wrestle Pagar this Saturday, taking place at the scenic Tanjong Pagar Community Club.
Currently scheduled are six matches, including the NWE Showcase, and to make the evening even bigger, several of the top wrestlers from MYPW will be making their long-awaited return to Singapore.
Where We Left Off in Grapplemax
At Amplify 8, Justin defeated Tydus in the NWE Showcase, followed by Jullian Creed retaining his Rising Championship against Thommy Ardhi. Heaven & Earth regained some momentum by beating the international pairing of Bobby Sianga and Nik Adam from MYPW. Big Dave humiliated Nathaniel and Devan in a two-on-one match, which turned out to be a sign of worse things to come.
Divya & Kelvin upset Ships Ahoy, who haven’t seemed the same since. And in the main event, Hotshot retained his Openweight Championship against Endboss Gregory. What came after, though, was what stunned the Grapplemax community most — Devan and Nathaniel turned on their peers, choosing to align themselves with the champion. Now, Gregory looks to extract some revenge by bringing in the next title contender, SPD, while Hotshot calls on an old rival of both men — Big Dave.

NWE Showcase Match: Tydus vs. Nish
In the NWE Showcase, Tydus faces Nish in what looks to be far more than a trainee match. Nish has been all enthusiasm in his promos, excited for the chance to perform on a stage as significant as Wrestle Pagar. But underneath that energy sits a bit of a school rivalry — as both men attend the same school.
Nish may be the academic senior, but inside Grapplemax, it’s Tydus who’s the upperclassman. Two proud young competitors with classmates and peers watching — that’s pressure few can ignore. Having worked in education myself, I can say this mix of pride, ego, and audience expectation tends to bring out real fire. Expect both men to give everything they’ve got.

LFG (Crypto Bro LK & KAL) vs. Radiant Rui & Kelvin
We can only hope Kelvin has recovered from his brawling across Perth’s bar scene this past week, because this match looks like it’ll get rough.
After falling short in their tag title pursuit at Slam & Savour, Crypto Bro LK and KAL have turned their frustrations toward Radiant Rui. This feud goes back some time — Rui managed to upset LK twice in consecutive shows earlier this year, and that loss of face hasn’t been forgotten. LK and KAL want to silence Rui for good. But Rui’s not coming alone. Determined to prove she’s no longer just a trainee, she’s bringing backup in Kelvin Lang. That combination could easily turn this into a statement win — or a painful reminder that experience bites back.

Grapplemax Rising Championship: “The Hitman” Jullian Creed (Champion) vs. Ban Sachak
The inaugural and record-breaking Rising Champion, Jullian Creed, continues to dominate the scene. Undefeated since claiming the title, he’s faced and defeated a range of opponents across the region. But this weekend, he meets someone he’s never faced one-on-one — Ban Sachak.
At Amplify 8, Ban became number one contender by ending a three-match losing streak. That turnaround gives him momentum, but the challenge ahead couldn’t be steeper. This match is must-win territory — another loss could send Ban straight back down the ranks, wasting a year of progress. The two haven’t shared a ring in nearly three years, and never in singles action, so the unpredictability here is high. Creed has the record; Ban has everything to prove.

Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Match: Ships Ahoy vs. Heaven & Earth vs. Devan & Nathaniel
Tensions are running high in this triple threat tag team contest, where a victory could mean a future title match — and a loss could mean collapse.
Heaven & Earth have been the team to watch this year, combining Simon Siah’s fearless aerial style with Larhvin DeShadow’s grounded strength. Their work ethic and connection with the fans have earned them steady momentum heading into their biggest chance yet.
Devan & Nathaniel are no strangers to teamwork either, having tagged together at Amplify and NWE events. But now, aligned with Openweight Champion Hotshot, they’ve shown a more aggressive streak that’s divided the fanbase. They’re done being seen as the nice rookies.
Meanwhile, Ships Ahoy seem to be sailing into troubled waters. A recent loss and public tension between Xtian and Sarah Coldheart have raised questions about the team’s stability. Xtian’s frustration is clear, but Sarah believes it’s a temporary slump. A win could steady the ship — but a loss could sink it for good.

Grapplemax Tag Team Championship Match: Aussie Aussie Aussie (Champions) vs. LOVExFRDM (Challengers)
Two-time champions Aussie Aussie Aussie — “Pinball” YC and Shawn “The Pillar” Phang — remain one of the most consistent and popular teams across the region. Their energy, teamwork, and charisma have made them fixtures in the Grapplemax tag scene.
But standing opposite them are the flamboyant and fast-rising LOVExFRDM — “The Flamingo” Fienic Rose and “The Love Warrior” Syawal — who’ve spent 2025 dazzling fans across Asia. They’ve already tasted gold this year with a title win in Bangkok and now return to Singapore hungry for another in the place they debuted.
Representing MYPW, LOVExFRDM bring a mix of style and confidence that has connected with audiences everywhere they go. But facing the champions on home turf is another story. If they can score the win here, they won’t just claim titles — they’ll claim territory.

Main Event Tag Team Match: Big Dave & Hotshot vs. Endboss Gregory & SPD
The main event carries serious implications for Unity next month and could alter the championship landscape entirely.
After Hotshot’s controversial victory over Endboss Gregory, the champion and his new allies continued their assault — until SPD intervened. That set the stage for this unlikely tag bout, pairing Hotshot with Big Dave against Gregory and SPD.
But Big Dave has made one thing clear: he works alone. He’s not Hotshot’s ally, only his temporary partner. So why take the match? Opportunity. With the Openweight Title picture wide open, a pinfall here could change everything. If Big Dave pins SPD or Gregory pins Hotshot, it could reshape who stands in the main event of Unity.
This is a match loaded with history, ego, and stakes. Nobody’s playing for pride — they’re all playing for position.
Wrestle Pagar feels like a huge marker for Grapplemax heading into the final stretch of 2025. It’s got everything — schoolyard rivalries, shifting loyalties, rising stars, and the ever-present tension of who will lead the promotion into its next chapter.
At Tanjong Pagar Community Club, the stories that have been brewing all year come to a head. Whether it’s a breakout, a betrayal, or a rebirth, one thing’s certain: Grapplemax’s heartbeat isn’t slowing down any time soon.
