Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Festival 2 – Preview
This Saturday, Grapplemax returns to the Jurong Spring Community Centre for the second annual Pro Wrestling Festival. Like last year, this show is built around the crowning of new champions — helping to elevate the promotion and create more opportunities for Southeast Asian wrestlers to showcase their talents on a global scale.
The card features a highly personal Openweight Championship match, a heated international clash for the Tag Team Championships, new tag team contenders to be crowned, and a high-stakes triple threat match with future title implications.
At its heart, this show continues Grapplemax’s mission: to build stars, create moments, and push Singaporean and Southeast Asian wrestling to the next level.

Special NWE Tag Team Match:
Amani & Radiant Rui Vs Divya & Sarah Coldheart
A late addition to the card sees ladies action represent NWE this weekend.
After a hiatus, Divya is returning to tag with perhaps not her favourite person in Sarah Coldheart. Their opponents, Radiant Rui who knows Coldheart very well from both sides of the ring and someone who Divya helped train in Amani.
This match could be a real proving ground for the young Amani. It could be all about competition and respect. Unless someone’s Piratey ways emerge from the waters?
Prediction: Coldheart and Divya thanks to some foul play.

Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders Match
Heaven & Earth (Lahrvin Deshadow & Simon Siah) vs. Kal & Crypto Bro LK
Sometimes the stars align, and a great team forms under the most unlikely circumstances. Thrown together for Causeway Jam and losing to LOVE X FRDM, it would have been easy for Deshadow and Siah to return to singles competition — but they didn’t.
Instead, the duo regrouped, rebranded, and became Heaven & Earth — one of the fastest-rising tag teams in the region. Since February, they’ve built momentum with victories over Devan & Nathaniel (Amplify 7), Jinn Kai & Jullian Creed (NWE Showcase 2), and Big Dave & Xtian (NWE Showcase 3), winning over fans along the way.
However, jealousy soon reared its head. After losing momentum, Kal and Crypto Bro LK attacked Heaven & Earth post-match, mocking them and claiming this wasn’t about jealousy — but about taking their rightful place as the next contenders.
The stakes are simple: the winners move on to challenge for the Tag Team Championships. Heaven & Earth’s response? “Shut up and fight!”
Prediction: Heaven & Earth, they have momentum on their side

International Triple Threat
SPD vs. Big Dave vs. Saka (NTW – New Taiwan Wrestling)
Few Grapplemax matches come bigger than this: two of the promotion’s pillars squaring off against Saka, an international standout from New Taiwan Wrestling.
SPD and Big Dave have collided many times and know each other inside out. But what happens when an outsider like Saka enters the fray? A man who hasn’t been seen in Grapplemax for eight long years. Both Singaporean men bring different philosophies to the grappling game. Will they unite to take out the international threat, or will their rivalry take priority?
While this isn’t officially a title contender’s match, a win here could launch any of these men to the top of the rankings. Expect hard-hitting action, tactical battles, and perhaps a few surprises.
Prediction: Big Dave, I can't bet against him after his wonderful KTTG interview!

Tag Team Championship Match
Aussie Aussie Aussie (c) vs. Karas & Joker
The beloved champions Aussie Aussie Aussie were riding high after reclaiming the titles at Fightclub 5. However, their celebration didn’t last long — Shawn Phang was brutally assaulted in Taiwan by the terrifying duo Karas & Joker.
This horror movie-like team has staked their claim in the most disrespectful way possible. Considering the fighting spirit of the champions, all they had to do was ask. With the assault fresh in their minds, Aussie Aussie Aussie are likely to show the vicious side that helped them reclaim the belts at Fightclub.
This won’t be a match for the faint of heart. Expect brutality, chaos, and retribution.
Prediction: Aussie Aussie Aussie by the skin of their teeth in this fight.

Openweight Championship Match
Hotshot (c) vs. Ban Sachak
Since returning to assist Hotshot against The Wonderboy at Causeway Jam, Ban Sachak and the champion have had an uneasy alliance — one that finally boiled over at NWE Showcase 3.
Tensions ran high during their tag victory at Amplify 7, and exploded when Hotshot violently attacked Ban after his No. 1 contender status was announced at Showcase 3.
What caused this shift in attitude from Hotshot? Perhaps resentment over Ban’s acclaim as the “saviour of Grapplemax” at Causeway Jam, or frustration that Ban’s momentum in 2025 has outpaced the champion’s own.
What’s certain is this: Ban Sachak is on a roll and could pose the toughest challenge yet to Hotshot’s impressive 500+ day reign.
Prediction: Momentum can be everything, this one is all Ban's

Grapplemax Rising Championship
Xtian vs. Devan vs. Jullian Creed vs. Kelvin Lang
The main event will crown the first-ever Grapplemax Rising Champion. This title aims to spotlight the next wave of talent and could provide the launching pad to future greatness.
Kelvin Lang is arguably the most well-travelled competitor, bringing experience from training at the Glasgow Asylum. He’s learned how to survive chaos from some of ICW’s best — a useful skill in a four-way match. However, former ally Jullian Creed will have Lang firmly in his sights. After being ejected from Showtime Inc., Creed holds a tainted victory over Lang and will look to deny him the chance to rise from the faction’s shadow.
Joining them is Xtian, one half of Ships Ahoy, and the most decorated competitor in the match. This pirate could be the dark horse, blending unorthodox offense with underhanded tactics. Expect ringside chaos from his crewmate Sarah Coldheart.
Finally, there’s the sentimental favourite: Devan. A recent graduate, he’s quickly risen to main event status. Though some may dismiss his contender’s win as lucky, Devan has already battled top names like Heaven & Earth and SPD, showing heart, skill, and potential. Watch his promo to see the passion he brings to this sport. A victory here could transform his career overnight.
Prediction: I'm a sucker for a pirate, I'm going with Xtian!
See you on Saturday!
Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Festival 2 looks set to deliver unforgettable moments and career-defining opportunities. Championships will be won, rivalries will escalate, and Southeast Asian wrestling will continue to make its mark on the world stage.
Don’t miss this. Be there live — We certainly will be!
