Grapplemax: Amplify 8 Results & Wrestle Pagar Announcement
Saturday Night, Grapplemax presented their biggest Amplify show ever. For those unaware, Amplify is the name given to Grapplemax shows that focus on the main roster and take place at Grapplemax Studios.
From clips shared on social media and the general buzz following the event, the action didn’t disappoint. The road to Unity on November 14th is also starting to take shape.
Results from the show
Justin def. Tydus in the pre-show match.
Jullian Creed def. Thommy Ardhi to retain the Rising Championship.
Heaven & Earth def. Bobby Sinaga & Nik Adam.
Ban Sachak def. Sage Matthews, becoming the number one contender for the Rising Championship. He will face Jullian Creed at Wrestle Pagar on October 25th.
BIG DAVE def. Nathaniel & Devan.
Divya & Kelvin Lang def. Ships Ahoy, it looked like there was some friction between Ships Ahoy following their loss.
Hotshot def. Endboss Gregory to retain the Grapplemax Openweight Championship. During the match, Devan & Nathaniel interfered and assaulted Endboss Gregory, showing their allegiance to Hotshot.
Next Show: Wrestle Pagar
Almost as the final bell rang, Grapplemax released details for their next show, Wrestle Pagar, set for October 25th at Tanjong Pagar Community Club.
The announced card includes:
Rising Championship: Jullian Creed (c) vs. Ban Sachak
Tag Team Championships: Aussie Aussie Aussie (c) vs. LOVE X FDRM
Tag Team No. 1 Contender’s Match: Devan & Nathaniel vs. Ships Ahoy vs. Heaven & Earth
Main Event: Hotshot & Big Dave vs. Endboss Gregory & SPD
This main event sees Hotshot once again meet the Endboss—this time with his next challenger SPD alongside him. Helping Hotshot is none other than Greg Ho’s tag team partner, Big Dave. This could well be a must-watch tag team clash.
