FPW ASTIG – Show Preview

November 9, 2025
Baked Studios, Makati

Filipino Pro Wrestling closes out the year with another edition of FPW ASTIG, bringing together rising prospects, returning contenders, and a marquee tag match featuring one of Japan’s most respected international stars. With new faces emerging and long-running rivalries reaching their next phase, this card looks set to mark a turning point heading into 2026.

Penny Haze vs Robynn

The newest girl on the block steps into the spotlight.

Fresh from the FPW Academy system, Penny Haze makes her official FPW ASTIG debut. Branded The Galactic Grappling Gal, Penny arrives with a reputation for sharp technical skill and confident ring composure beyond her experience level. Her first test is no warm-up.

Standing across from her is Robynn, the Punk Rock Maiden, who brings edge, attitude, and a familiarity with Penny from a previous encounter on the independent scene. Robynn thrives on disruption and momentum swings; Penny thrives on precision. Their rematch now comes on a larger stage, with both looking to prove something very real to the FPW audience.

Metro Manila Championship

Ralph Imabayashi (c) vs Joshua Ellevistah

A classic case of new school versus established force.

Joshua Ellevistah has had a standout debut year and now looks to crown it with championship gold. Dubbed Diamante ng Tondo, his rise has been fast, explosive, and fueled by raw promise.

But Ralph Imabayashi is not a champion in name alone. Known for dismantling opponents piece by piece, Imabayashi’s intensity and technical brutality are well-established. The question is whether pure fire and youthful pace can break through veteran control, or whether the champion simply grinds down another challenger.

Rated SPG Debuts

After making an impression at a recent closed-door showcase, Chico and Mico, The Flamboyant Loverboys, step onto the ASTIG stage. The duo blends charisma, confidence, and synchronized teamwork, aiming to inject fresh personality into FPW’s tag division. Their progression from academy prospects to potential contenders officially starts here.

Mike Madrigal Returns

2025 has not fallen in Mike Madrigal’s favor. The Walking Death has been on the wrong side of results for most of the year, but ASTIG presents him with the chance to end the season on an upswing. The only uncertainty: who will be the unfortunate figure standing across from him? Regardless, Madrigal competes with the pressure of a reputation to reclaim.

The Sigma Open Challenge

Legendarius the Great, flanked by Jason Rex and AB3, has issued what he calls the Sigma Open Challenge. No stipulations announced. No opponent named. Only a promise that Sigma has something to prove and something to enforce. The faction has grown louder and more assertive in recent months—how they close the year could shift the power structure within FPW moving forward.

FPW Championship Match

Quatro (c) vs Jan Evander

Following a long and draining rivalry that pushed him to his limits, Quatro now finds himself facing a determined and calculating challenger in Jan Evander. The Mad Doctor has been consistent all year, working his way into title contention through performance rather than noise. With the champion still riding momentum and Evander approaching the moment he has worked toward, this has all the makings of a measured, high-stakes championship encounter.

Main Event Tag Team Showcase

KUSHIDA & Cali Nueva vs The YOLO Twins

Former WWE and current NJPW star KUSHIDA comes to FPW for a special tag team encounter. A six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and a cornerstone of junior heavyweight wrestling globally, KUSHIDA has built a career on fluid technical transitions, lightning counters, and clean precision. He now teams with Cali Nueva, one of FPW’s standout homegrown talents known for his speed, agility, and crisp execution.

Their opponents, The YOLO Twins, are widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s top tag teams. Longtime representatives of Filipino wrestling abroad, the twins have refined a style marked by rhythm, chemistry, and sharp timing. This match is not simply an exhibition—it’s a test of standard. KUSHIDA is here to challenge, evaluate, and elevate. The YOLO Twins are here to prove they remain the benchmark.

Tickets are now available. Don’t miss one of FPW’s defining nights as 2025 comes to a close.
