DEXCON Fast Break 2026 Preview – Full Match Card Breakdown from the Brawlpit Bulusan

DEXCON returns this Sunday to kick off its 2026 campaign and set the tone ahead of the already much-anticipated Wrestlestorm 3 just one month away. The first major Pinoy Wrestling card of the year lands back inside the Brawlpit Bulusan, and with it comes a slate that blends international debuts, redemption arcs and championship implications across the region.

Here’s what to expect.

Where Did We Leave DEXCON?

It’s difficult to neatly categorise DEXCON right now.

At the beginning of last year, the promotion functioned as the super-event arm of the Brawlpit trio: alongside Puso Wrestling’s DIY energy and World Underground Wrestling’s combat-leaning presentation, DEXCON stood as the showcase platform. It was where Pinoy wrestling’s best collided with names from across Southeast Asia and beyond in genuine dream matches.

But Sari Sari Slam hinted at a shift.

Rather than simply threading storylines from sister promotions, DEXCON appears to be carving out its own ecosystem — one centred around its World Championship and the positioning of Filipino talent against SEA Wrestling’s premier athletes and select international visitors.

At Sari Sari Slam, the defining image was the crowning of Jake De Leon as DEXCON World Champion after defeating Kidd Bandit. A much-criticised, much-debated champion now sits at the top of the promotion.

Elsewhere that night:

  • Robin Sane delivered a performance that earned the respect of Carlo Cannon despite coming up short.

  • Chelsea Marie pushed former WWE talent Lacey Lane to the brink.

Yet those near-misses only fuelled JDL’s growing frustration. As a triple champion, he continues to spotlight what he believes is a lack of comparable star power around him. In his mind, he’s the only one holding Pinoy wrestling together — and he’s made no secret of wanting to leave it behind.

For now, he remains.

And this Sunday, he defends.

Since then, we’ve also seen one of 2025’s most heartwarming returns. Super P is back. Three matches deep into her comeback, she now steps back in front of the fans who love her — and this time with championship implications.

Jomar vs Jack Alexander – National Guard vs Regional Hybrid

Jomar’s year-long crusade against foreign talent continues.

It began when he faced Yoshi Tatsu, escalated through confrontations and assaults, and extended to battles with internationally experienced wrestlers such as Ho Ho Lun.

His mission has been clear: defend Pinoy wrestling from outside influence that he believes has a detrimental effect.

But what about The Shamen Jack Alexander?.

A Malaysian-Filipino athlete building regional momentum with matches in Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore, Alexander complicates the narrative. Does shared heritage soften Jomar’s stance? Unlikely.

Alexander brings speed, regional seasoning and that intangible edge that has made him increasingly dangerous. Jomar counters with power, technical precision and a suffocating catch wrestling base.

Expect tension. Expect pauses. Expect deliberate, punishing exchanges where every movement feels calculated rather than frantic. This won’t be flashy for the sake of it — this will be contested.

Crystal vs Lady Leigh – Legacy Meets Disruption

Ten years into her career, Crystal stands as one of the earliest and longest-running female wrestlers in the region.

Last year marked something of a resurgence. She travelled across Malaysia and the Philippines, facing a broad international mix and re-establishing herself on major stages as a dominant player in the Southeast Asian women’s division.

Now comes a pivotal test.

Lady Leigh — who once turned heads on the grand stage before a sudden and dramatic shift in trajectory — sees an opportunity. Derailing Crystal’s milestone year before it gains momentum would instantly reposition her. Despite less years in the ring, Leigh also boasts a very, very formidable sparring partner in life and will certainly have some tricks up her sleeve.

Crystal is entering a celebration year. Lady Leigh is entering to interrupt it.

Ravena vs The British Horror – DEXCON Pride on the Line

Things have unravelled for Ravena.

After a string of losses, Mr. Sy severed ties, casting aside the so-called Influential Influencer. The MSG association is over. The backing is gone.

What remains is a chance at redemption.

Across from him stands a name well known to SEA Wrestling — Issue 3 cover star, former VPW Openweight Champion and one of the most calculating presences in Southeast Asian wrestling: The British Horror a man that is a triple crown winner in Vietnam, decorated in the United Kingdom.

This marks Horror’s Pinoy wrestling debut and the first time a VPW representative enters the Brawlpit environment.

Quietly — perhaps only in our own running tally — DEXCON trails VPW 0–2 in recent crossover battles. JDL fell to Ares in August. Crystal was defeated by Viva Van in December.

Ravena now carries more than personal redemption. He carries brand pride.

Can he restore balance?

CWE Vixens Championship Opportunity – Super P vs Chelsea Marie

One of 2025’s most heartbreaking moments came when Super P suffered a knee injury — falling from Chelsea Marie’s shoulders in a sequence that abruptly halted her momentum.

Now she returns fully cleared.

There is no bitterness from Super P’s side. She’s framed this as an opportunity rather than revenge.

Chelsea Marie sees it differently.

The SEA Philippines Women’s Wrestler of the Year views herself as operating on another tier now. International appearances have reshaped her self-perception, and her “Sub Par P” remark made her stance clear.

The stakes are significant.

The winner earns a shot at the reigning CWE Vixens Champion — widely regarded as the premier female wrestler in Singapore and perhaps across Southeast Asia — whose reign now stretches beyond 2000 days.

Both women understand what that means: the chance to bring a major women’s title match back into the Philippine spotlight. Will Marie continue her global expansion or will Super P get the comeback moment she and the fans wish for?

IWA Thailand World Championship – Fatal Four Way

Four enter. One leaves holding the top prize in Thai wrestling.

Champion Shivam leads the charge. The Real Global Threat leader has positioned himself as Thailand’s most dominant wrestler and now defends in hostile territory.

Isaiah Valencia — JDL’s Hy/Op running mate — arrives with something to prove. He wants validation that he belongs in the upper echelon of internationally travelling talent.

Joey Rosas seeks upward mobility and perhaps retribution after recent punishment at Valencia’s hands.

Robin Sane may be facing the most defining opportunity of his prime years. Now steering HSSL in Fabio Makisig’s absence, he needs the statement win that solidifies leadership.

A fatal four way in the Brawlpit rarely unfolds cleanly. Expect urgency from the opening bell.

DEXCON World Championship – Jake De Leon (c) vs Brian Kendrick

The headline attraction sees the DEXCON debut of Brian Kendrick.

Older fans remember his WWE Tag Team Championship run, his tenure as WWE Cruiserweight Champion and his time as TNA X Division Champion. Hardcore fans and wrestlers view him differently — as one of the architects of the early-2000s independent wrestling evolution.

In 2002, Ring of Honor emerged with a blend of cruiserweight innovation, Japanese junior influences, strong style intensity and technical precision. Among that inaugural wave were names like Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Guerrero — and a young Kendrick performing as Spanky.

That generation reshaped global in-ring standards.

While Kendrick’s mainstream ceiling may not have mirrored some of his contemporaries, his influence persists. His coaching footprint extends to high-profile names including Mercedes Moné, Ronda Rousey and Bad Bunny.

Now he steps into the Brawlpit with a chance to represent Pinoy wrestling as its world champion.

Jake De Leon rejects that premise entirely.

In JDL’s view, these international arrivals seek to extract value from the scene rather than elevate it — and if anyone is going to prove global readiness, it will be him.

The Brawlpit’s tight, humid, volatile atmosphere reduces comfort. It narrows margins. It amplifies pressure. That environment could compress the experience gap.

Kendrick arrives alone.

JDL does not.

Hy/Op members and RGT leader Shivam will be present. Whether that presence influences the result remains to be seen

DEXCON, the international proving ground for Pinoy Wrestling regardless of winners and losers, will make a statement once again that The Philippines is a place to be recognised as a wrestling country. Tickets are still on sale right now. Don’t Miss This!
