DEXCON Dakila Preview - Pinoy Wrestling's Biggest Show Ever?
Can you believe Dakila is already this Sunday? Time has absolutely flown in the SEA Wrestling offices since WrestleStorm 2, a little under two months ago. In that time, the team at DEXCOM (including Linus!) has put together one of the most hotly anticipated professional wrestling cards in Southeast Asian history.
The anticipation is as high as the temperature will be in the Brawlpit on the 18th, with a show that features some of SEA’s top wrestling talent coming together for epic matches and major storyline developments across the region.
Whether you’re holding your ticket in anticipation or refreshing the Triller app until it goes live, DEXCON has seven exciting matches waiting for you.
Eight-Wrestler Tag Team Match
Crystal, Danny Zamora, Aaron Liwanag, Solomon Liwanag vs. Joya, Joey Rosas, El Katipunero, Patricia Ligaia
As Forrest Gump once said, you never know what you're gonna get—and that's especially true in big multiman Pinoy wrestling matches. They’re always exciting, but the result is anyone’s guess.
This hastily assembled match—prompted by Linus reshuffling the card when Chelsea Marie and Ravena were swapped out for the Brothers of Light—is all about bragging rights.
Each competitor has something to prove. Crystal recently lost to Nor 'Phoenix' Diana in Malaysia, and Zamora hasn’t been seen in months. The Liwanag brothers are rebounding after dropping the WUW Tag Team Titles to the Rock Heads.
On the other side, Ligaia—fresh from Ice Ribbon training—wants to show off her evolution. Her ‘frenemy’ Joya is currently on a roll, with recent wins over Maria and Ligaia herself. Meanwhile, Rosas and El Katipunero could use a momentum boost.
This match could shift careers and storylines heading into the second half of 2025.

Nigel San Jose vs. 'Golden Boy' Emman Azman
Nigel San Jose turned heads at WUW Masterclash with a gutsy performance in a losing effort against The Two Aces. Though he missed the opportunity to wrestle or team with NJPW stars, he's walking into an even greater challenge now.
Azman is one of Southeast Asia’s hottest rising stars. He’s fresh off wins over Rocky Huynh and impressive outings against Shivam, Shaheen, and The Statement at MYPW New Breed 3.
San Jose will need every bit of his stamina and technique to keep up.
A win here could put either man on a collision course with the Puso Champion later this year.

SPW Southeast Asia Championship
Da Butcherman vs. Isaiah Valencia vs. Jomar vs. Ken Cifer
Da Butcherman, already scheduled to face Carlo Cannon at SPW Mayhem, has decided to test himself against three of the Philippines’ finest. If he loses, Mayhem’s main event might become non-title—though Cannon probably doesn’t care as long as he gets to hurt him.
Jomar, furious at the influx of international talent, has made his frustrations loud and clear—attacking Yoshi Tatsu and brutalizing White Shirt. He’s also the only one in this match who has previously defeated Da Butcherman.
Ken Cifer is regaining his footing post-TZK breakup and a Tag Title loss. He was in the last Brawlpit four-way that ended in a draw, and a win here could change his fortunes.
Valencia is sharpening his edge and looking to prove himself as a breakout singles competitor.
Da Butcherman will have to fight smart to escape with his belt.

Saint John Martin vs. Robin Sane
Correction: SJM did defeat Sansyu at Masterclash.
This match is Linus’ attempt to end the Underground by turning its former allies against each other.
Surprisingly, these two have never met one-on-one before (please fact-check us). That makes this clash between the high-flying Sane and the no-nonsense SJM even more intriguing.
Expect fireworks—and hope their friendship survives the night.

International Tag Team Dream Match
Chelsea Marie & Ravena vs. Jack ‘N’ Cheese
In one of the card’s more eyebrow-raising moves, Linus swapped the Brothers of Light for Marie and Ravena—possibly due to lobbying from Mr. Sy, or maybe just to make an MSG joke.
The Pinay Vixen and The Influencer face the well-traveled Jack ‘N’ Cheese, who have been stacking wins across the region: Good Deal (SETUP), Geylang Syndicate (ROR), and Craven & Shaheen (SPW).
Marie and Ravena will need to rely on cunning and chaos—two things they excel at. Jack ‘N’ Cheese have shown vulnerabilities when split up or caught off guard by trickery.

Pusong Pinoy Pro Wrestling Championship
Main Maxx vs. Shivam vs. Miles Karu
Main Maxx has been a dominant fighting champion since winning the belt in late 2024—but this may be his biggest challenge yet.
Miles Karu brings deep regional experience and is still riding high after recent tours. Fans are also speculating on what wild custom theme music he’ll walk out to.
Shivam, backed by Real Global Threat and handpicked by The Statement, enters with momentum as the reigning MYPW Southeast Asian Champion. He’s looking to double up on gold.
This match could shift the balance of power in the region.

Main Event
Jake De Leon & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Fabio Makisig & El Phantasmo
A dream tag match closes out Dakila: two NJPW stars pair with two of the Philippines’ best.
De Leon, with deep experience in Japan, is no stranger to the strong-style grind. But El Phantasmo’s wild card energy and tension with Zack Sabre Jr. might throw off the chemistry.
Makisig is stepping into this match with a point to prove—he’s been vocal about SEA wrestlers doing the heavy lifting between international guest appearances.
Expect technical precision, aerial madness, and a final-act explosion. This could be one for the ages.
Why DEXCON Dakila Matters
Dakila isn’t just another big card with imported stars. It’s a statement that Southeast Asian wrestling belongs on the global stage. With international exposure, long-simmering storylines, and regional pride on the line, this Sunday could shape the future of SEA wrestling.
