DEXCON: Baka Gaijin Results

DEXCON brought Baka Gaijin to The Social House in Manila last night, packing the venue with at least 200 fans for a show that had a raw, underground fight club vibe.

The night kicked off with the live concert portion of the event, as Super P and the Space Bandits delivered her signature tracks. At one point, Bon was even spotted belting out Judas — and no, before you ask, there’s still no truth to the rumor that Jericho is heading to DEXCON after his contract ends in December.

Match Results and Highlights

Robin Sane & Crystal def. Dr. Gore & Patricia Ligia
Everyone came dressed for the occasion — Sane & Crystal anime-inspired gear, with Dr. Gore rocking his signature black look and a special outfit on Ligaia. The match was chaotic, with a back massager even being used as a weapon. Dr. Gore laid some brutal slaps into Crystal, and the mystery of Yappy’s missing gear was finally solved when Patricia revealed she’d stolen it and wore it during the match.

Nigel San Jose def. SJM & Danny Zamora
Costumes stayed on trend here too, with Nigel wrestling dressed as a hot dog. The match carried some bittersweet energy, as SJM confirmed he’s retiring after this weekend’s Peks Man event.

Fabio Makisig def. El Katipunero
Not much footage has surfaced yet, but reports suggest a tough, competitive match where Fabio’s experience ultimately edged out the younger Katipunero.

Schadenfreude Intl. (Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada) def. 2pc Chicken Boys (Jake de Leon & Isaiah Valencia)
The main event turned up the violence. Stiff chops rang out, plastic boxes shattered, and even the infamous elastic band spot made an appearance. Brookes capped off the night by showing love for the Filipino wrestling scene — a perfect ending to a wild show.
