DDT Pro & TJPW Bringing “LOVE & PEACE” to Malaysia with KLP48

The world of Japanese wrestling is making its way to Malaysia once again — and this time, it’s bigger, louder, and packed with star power.

Earlier today, DDT Pro Wrestling announced on its official website that it will team up with its sister promotion, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW), and Malaysia’s very own idol group KLP48 for a unique live concert and wrestling showcase titled “LOVE & PEACE.”

The highly anticipated event will take place on November 15, 2025, at JioSpace in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, a modern multi-purpose venue perfect for a fusion of live music and high-energy pro wrestling.

KLP48, an international sister group of the world-famous AKB48, has been steadily growing its profile in the region and even made an appearance at a DDT Higashin Arena show in Japan last November, performing a special mini live set that wowed the crowd. Now, they’ll share the stage — and the spotlight — with some of Japan’s most exciting wrestling talents.

Tickets, match card details, and the lineup of participating KLP48 members are set to be announced soon, but expectations are already sky-high for what promises to be one of the most unique wrestling events in Southeast Asia this year.

While this is pure speculation, it would not be surprising if one of the local Malaysian wrestling promotions — or even partners from further afield in the region — could be involved to make the event a true cross-cultural showcase through talent exchanges or cross promotional opportunities.

Already this year DDT and TJPW have worked closely with Southeast Asian wrestling companies with Chris Brookes and Takeshi Masada visiting DDP, Yuki Kamifuku defending the VPW Women's Championship and wrestlers (Raku & Ram Kaichow) visiting SETUP Thailand.
