Club 365: Southeast Asia’s Longest Reigning Champions
This month, Da Butcherman officially surpassed 365 days as the Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW) Southeast Asian Champion, marking a significant milestone in his career. Across the past year, he has turned back challengers including Carlo Cannon, The Statement, Ho Ho Lun, Jake De Leon, Shivam, Aiden Rex, and Shigehiro Irie. At present, no one has yet found the answer to the champion’s relentless brutality and ring presence.
However, Da Butcherman is far from alone in carving out a historic title reign. Across Southeast Asia, several champions continue to build legacies defined not just by victory, but by longevity and dominance. Below are four of the longest ongoing championship reigns shaping the region today.

Carlo Cannon – MYPW World Champion
Reign: 1000+ Days
In Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MYPW), Carlo Cannon stands atop the roster with a world championship reign that has now surpassed the 1000-day mark. This places him among the longest-reigning champions anywhere in the world today.
A respected mentor outside the ring and a force of overwhelming power inside it, Cannon has defended the title across three countries and against some of Southeast Asia’s most proven names, including Da Butcherman, Andruew Tang, Robin Sane, and Shivam. His run has become a standard against which future champions will be measured.

Hotshot – Grapplemax Openweight Champion
Reign: 700+ Days
As only the second Openweight Champion in Grapplemax history, Hotshot’s title run has been one of emphatic control. Over two years into his reign, he has dispatched every challenger who has stepped forward.
Victories over MYPW’s Wonderboy, his own trainer Endboss Gregory, and even his upcoming opponent SPD show the range of challenges he has overcome. Yet with Unity approaching, questions remain: can he continue to rule, or is a shift coming?

Shivam – MYPW Southeast Asian Champion
Reign: 400+ Days
Shivam’s reign as MYPW Southeast Asian Champion has showcased the raw power and intensity of the Real Global Threat founder. Over the past year, Shivam has taken the title across three different countries, defeating top competitors including Nigel San Jose and even his own RGT associates The Statement and Emman Azman.
Like Cannon, Shivam’s dominance has reshaped expectations for what it means to hold a championship in the region.

Main Maxx – Pusong Pinoy Champion
Reign: Approaching 1 Year
The shortest reign on this list belongs to Main Maxx, who captured the Pusong Pinoy Championship on November 30 of last year. His defenses have included standout names such as Dr. Gore, Shivam, Miles Karu, Robin Sane, and Fabio Makisig.
However, his longest and most personal test looms ahead: Jake De Leon, holding both the DEXCON World and SETUP 24/7 Championships, will challenge him later this month. Main Maxx may soon face the defining moment of his reign.
From Singapore to Malaysia to the Philippines and beyond, Southeast Asia’s championship landscape has never been more competitive or more compelling. These reigns are shaping not just records, but the future identity of wrestling in the region.

Nor “Phoenix” Diana – APAC Women’s Champion
Reign: 750+ Days
Nor “Phoenix” Diana continues to stand as one of the region’s most defining champions. Her second reign as APAC Women’s Champion has now exceeded 750 days, interrupted only briefly by the Queen of Philippine Wrestling, Crystal.
For nearly a decade, Diana has been the central force in Malaysian women’s wrestling—an icon whose influence extends far beyond her home promotion. But her next defence may be her most challenging yet. Within the week, she is set to put the title on the line against Mercedes Moné at House of Glory in New Jersey.
